Being a Bear fan and 10 years old when they went to the superbowl it has been a really weird feeling this past week and it still hasnt sunk in that My team has a chance for a Superbowl. I have been watching this years games I have On tivo over and over again and reading every article i can get my hands on. It is such a crazy feeling after all these years of terrible management they have finally got it right. Do you Colt and Bear fans feel the same way?
As a Bear fan I feel our X factor could be the offensive line. The reason why I say that is if the Bears o-line doesnt give Grossman the time to throw he will have a bad game. It has happened every bad game he has had hit from behind or trys and runs with it which bad things happen. I think the Bears could neutralize Dwight F by running at him let him go deep and run past him.
What I would do is start Benson and just have him Pound the ball early tire out the defense early and have Grossman go deep to Berrian or Davis and have Jones tear it up after the defense is exhausted.
Bears Defense what you guys can watch is the angles the Safeties take. They can be out of position at times over pursuit but can hit hard. The Corners for the Bears are good and I think the guy who needs to have a big game is Wayne. He will be the one who can beat the Bears. I am not saying the Harrison is not good he in fact is great but he doesnt seem to like to take contact and doesn't have the blazing speed like Steve Smith who can blow past guys.
Anyways I think you will be very suprised at the way the Bears offense plays and everything you heard from the national media will make you "whaa" they are actually a good team on both sides of the ball. They did average the same amount of points as the Bears this year.
Both teams have holes but which one will exploit the other.
