Why these fucking channels even exist, I'm not sure. So anyways, I'm watching Headbanger's Ball (yes, it still comes on) and they're actually playing some pretty good shit on there for a change. First...I'm shocked that a fucking video's playing on MTV or MTV2 in the first place, but these motherfuckers of course have to ruin everything.

I'm watching a video and at the beginning they almost cover the entire screen to display the band, song title, album and director. OK no big deal...it only last a few seconds. But then in the middle of a song they have this bar going across the screen promoting something or another totally fucking ruining the video. These fucking pompous asses fuck EVERYTHING up. How this fucking channel and MTV haven't been completely wiped off cable I'm not sure. They play nothing but shit, except for HBB, and kill everything that made them popular...THE VIDEOS.

Then the motherfuckers play 2 videos and go to commercial...2 more videos then to commercials. I barely watch fucking live TV as it is and these fuckers even ruin that. Next time I'm DVRing this shit. Fuck 'em and their channels.

Already happening with the end of TV shows. Ever try to read the credits after a show? Ususally it's shrunk down for what's next or some scary news teases. Annoying.

I watched HBB last night too, and extremely annoyed that they kept running promos over the video. Not underneath or above it, but underneath it. Not to mention there was about 5 minutes of commercials in between every video or so.

I'm surprised it didn't turn into a hip hop format. That's usually what happens whenever they start a new channel. MTV2 was really good when it started but it's shit now.

The only salvation with videos is if you live in my area(South Jersey) and have Comcast there is a channel on 250 called "The Tube". It has videos 24/7 with no commercials. It kind of came out of nowhere. Pretty good.

There used to be this kick ass channel out of Canada (I forget the name) that played some bad ass indie, metal, punk, ska and hard rock music. Then one day, poof, no more. They fucking put MTV to shame. They had a sexy ass VJ too(not even close to Juliya...but still), but you maybe saw her 10 minutes out of the entire hour. The commercial breaks were like 3-4 minutes and maybe 4 an hour. It wouldn't fucking surprise me if MTV filed suit and got these people off the air.

I agree with you 99.99%. Headbanger's Ball isn't directed to HS kids. Hence why it's played at Midnight on a Saturday night. The ONLY good show on this fucking network of shitdicks gets ruined b/c they're stupid fucking assholes of programming.
