how do you insert a picture via the web, or your pc, into the typing portion of the reply?

If you click on this icon:http://www.wackbag.com/images_black/editor/insertimage.gif in the reply box, a pop-up will appear
with a box that you put the url of your picture into.
Just add the address and click "OK".

Pictures do need to be hosted on the web.
You cannot add images directly off of your PC.

You need to have some kind of image editing software to stretch it.
Google "free photo editing programs".
There are a bunch that you can download for nothing.
If you're not looking to do serious photoshopping, they will
do fine for you.

I've been having problems putting in images lately too. I use the image icon and everything but when I post it I just get the html tags and a link.

If you want to ad a picture that is somewhere else on the web, just right click or option click or somehow get a menu that says "copy image address" and then use that address to put in the http://66.29.22.106/images_evil/editor/insertimage.gif (http://66.29.22.106/images_evil/editor/insertimage.gif) area. Let someone else host the image, like I just did.:action-sm

I'm doing all that. I don't know if there are some options I should have activated or what. The weird thing is it was working fine and then all of a sudden, kaplooie! Hmmmm now my picture works. Maybe it just doesn't like certain sites because I was able to link up some photos on one board but not this one.

There is no fix. HTML is disabled on posts. Someone who was looking to be malicious could have a field day if HTML was enabled.
