Fuckers... I am stuck without a credit card. My AMEX card expired at the end of January. I didn't really notice until I went to use it the other day. Well, I never got my new card from them. Well, they are sending me another card since I never got the one they sent out in December.

The only credit card I have is American Express. I use it for everything. I've got a Visa debit card but don't like using it alot (especially online) because it's not a credit card and if some kind of security breach occurs, we're talking about real money - not credit.

The original card they "allegedly" sent out in December still had the same account number, but with new expiration date. Since that card never made it to me, they are changing my account number. The new card I'll be getting will have that new account number, so now I gotta change everything that is billed to that card automatically... EZ-Pass, Paypal, and my XM subscription. I know I would have had to change the expiration date anyway, so I guess it isn't that big of a deal.

Another thing that blows is that I had the number, expiration, and CID # memorized so I could use it online without even getting it out of my wallet.

They sent it. Did you notice your mail man with the new snazzy $500 sunglasses

My mailman probably bought $500 worth of boner pills.

I know what you mean but I am pretty sure that since your check card has the Visa thing on it, that you get the same protection as if it were a Visa credit card.

I refuse to have a Visa debit card attached to my account. It will just be too easy to piss money away as well as the security thing.

I had no choice. My credit union replaced all the regular MAC card with VISA/MAC cards. They sent it to me, I didn't use it and kept using my regular MAC card. Well, they eventually deactivated the old cards and a machine took it one day when I tried using it. So I had to activate and start using the VISA/MAC.

I'll admit it's convenient. I hardly ever carry cash anymore when I'm working. I can use it at WaWa or anywhere else practically.

Off topic, but I don't think I've set foot near my actual bank thanks to Wawa

Me neither. I have direct-deposit, and my credit union has a partnership with PNC so I can use any of their ATM's for free, not just the ones in WaWa. All of the Walmarts around here as well have ATM's I can also use without having to pay ATM fees.
