The set up to the first one is that Elzinga had ended WIngfield's season the year before by breaking his leg. That was the first home game for Danbury the next season against them. Wingfield wanted revenge. Also, that was my first Danbury Trashers hockey game live, thank you badcellphoneguy, and I saw that fight. I got hooked right there on hockey in Danbury. Sadly, they folded after that years.



Well, it didn't really help them that their owner had ties to the mob.

this one is edmonton-Atlanta. If you watch when the oilers player is fighting the thrashers player from inside the thrasers bench, you'll see two guys beating on the glass to the direct right of the Atlanta bench. One of them is me beating on the glass.

This one is really bad! It was during an Islanders scrimmage during training camp this year. I think it's Asham and Simon in the white jerseys...you can clearly see Brendan Witt in the orange jersey try and break it up and get knocked over. You might have to turn your volume a tad down...the guy who put this together made it way too loud.

A 10 minute bench clearing brawl between the Isles and Boston in the 80 playoffs. Ahh, the good ole days! This is part of what hockey used to be about. I think Boston had the upper hand in this one. This brawl was started by, ironically, Mike Milbury. Beware...it's ten minutes long!

Another 5 minute bench clearing brawl between Canada and USSR in the 1987 World Junior Championship. It's so out of control that they first shut the lights out to try and get the players to stop. That didn't work, and the refs gave up and quit.

Bench clearing brawls would happen every so often in the NHL back in the day. If this were to happen today...there would probably be criminal charges on players and the league would be ridiculed. It's amazing how watered down the NHL has become.

you have to respect domi, that first vid is fucked up, but it doesnt show what happened before hand, double teaming is fucked though.

I like domi for the fact that even if he gets his ass kicked, he's still willing to fight 5 minutes later.
Plus most of the fights he gets into he was the smaller guy

This video blows, but I have to narate its worth it... Mayby greatest sports brawl of all time I know because i was there. The game lasted 3 minutes, then boom, bench clearer.. the bench clearer i swear to god ten fucking minutes.

there were two on ones, guys getting their faces booted in,,, just insane... some of the Wings were getting so beat up... fans actualy jumped in to save them.... I was third level, my poor ass. So eventualy the wings all ran< And i mean ran to get away at times climbing into the audience for safety.. completly out of control.

So after all the wings get to safty the Turbo guys start walking around with their middle fingers extended all like the badasses they actualy were... afterall they did kick our asses.

But,,, Bill Burr would be proud... the main guy flipping off the croud got dropped by a fucking 20, oz slushy from the crowd. I mean fuckin dropped. BAM! right in the everloving scull.... as his team realized that had been to far guys to 20,000 people. they hastily tryed to escape to thge lockers as i shit you not atleast 4000 slushys came flying at em. from every fucking direction poissible./ as they funnled to get through the tunnel out they just got fucking owned.

It was the most infucking sane thing ive ever seen in my life.

PS, i didnt throw my slushy,, fucker was 6 bucks man. Actualy as high up as i was i coulda probaly killed someone if i hit em with all that chilli goodness.

ya see the guy at the very end walkin around giving the double FU,,, that was it,,, just after it cuts off total devastation. Its a damd shame theres not a good copy of that around.

nahh, if ya notice, between the helmets and face shields and the biggest thing is they stop it as soon at they go down... In the old days the guy who went down on bottom got pummled. hence actualy getting beat up.

There's a whole history of great Islanders-Rangers fights...especially from the 70's and 80's which I'd love to find.

Isles-Rangers, 1990 playoffs. Isles send their goons out at the end of the game to send a message after LaFontaine took an elbow to the head and was knocked out cold. I don't think I ever saw Al Arbour react that way in his long career with the clear message of starting an all-out brawl.

1st we have Aaron Downey vs. Jesse Boulerice. Kind of a bastardization of a hockey fight, but entertaining nonetheless. Most of you have probably seen it. I don't think I've ever heard a crowd erupt like they do in this clip. And people say fighting needs to go...

Then the douchebag McGuire grabs Steve Yzerman and tries to pound him, a GIANT mistake on his part. 3rd, maybe one of the most brutal fights I've ever seen. Ken Tasker vs. Trevor Senn in the ECHL I think. Just ridiculous toe-to-toe face-pounding action. This is the quintessential hockey fight.
