Check it out baggers. This is a running (and often updated) list of compatibility for games running on vista.

The website also has a wealth of info on other O/s compatibility.

What I'm going to do for a while is keep XP 32bit Professional installed as a VIRTUAL machine for games that won't work in VISTA. I have Vista Ultimate 64bit running, I have some oldergames that didn't work in XP 64bit so they will not work in VISTA 64bit...
