Rainbow 6: Vegas or Lost Planet

Just wnated to get some feedback from you baggers on which you would recommend. I am going to pick up one of these this weekend and cant decide between the two.

I own vegas but haven't played it. From what I've read, R6:Vegas is the better game overall (single player, multiplayer, story, etc). Also depends on what type of game you're going for. Killing terrorists in a shooter sim type of game or shooting giant bugs on a frozen plant.

seconded, GoW is by far the best game yet for the 360.

Rainbow Six is fun, but the mp stinks unless you know a ton of people to play with, playing with that many random people sucks.


Lost Planet is a good concept, but I found it easy and boring.

sign up for gamefly 1 game at a time and rent them. The first month is only $7.99 then 15/month after that. You should be able to beat Lost planet in 3 days....dont waste $60

damn what a tough choice. Both are excellent games.

Personally I liked Lost Planet slightly better because it has Mechs. Like I always say mechs are like bacon, they go good with anything.

Whenever my buddies gather at my spot to play R6...it always feels and looks like they play the SAME map, over and over and over and over.

My only gripe with r6, otherwise it's one of the best games on the box.
you don't even need to rent it before buying to realize it's a worthwhile purchase.

Lost Planet is alright. Capcom doesn't disappoint. I'd rent it before buying it, as it caters to a bit of a niche audience.

Rainbow is def fun, but I haven't tried lost planet yet. Also, as for rainbow looking the same, I hear they are releasing a buch of new maps really soon.

i prefer lost planet because i dont like first person shooters. Just download the demos for both, and see which one you like.

i just downloaded the demos and R6 is better. I have GoW and I think i need a break from killing monsters and switch to killing ragheads. Thanks for all the feedback

R6, I like that one alot, and the online co op is fun. I only tried the demo of Lost Planet, but didn't care for it.

agreed. Take away Gears' graphics and cover system and you've got every third person shooter to come out in the past 5 years.

R6 for sure. I think it's the best for the 360 so far. Gears is fun but it got old pretty quick for me. I don't even feel like getting all the insane achievements.

Get Gears of War. Campaign is pretty good, and the MP is awesome. If you already have GoW, wait a few weeks and get GRAW 2. I DL'd the demo and it's cool. I've played Lost Planet and I'm not impressed at all.

Rainbow six for sure, played thru it twice already. GoW was great also, another must have. Graffics kick ass on Gow

I've only played the demo of Lost Planet but I own Rainbow Six Vegas and absolutely love it.
