The University of Oklahoma's website has a section for students called, "The Hub," that is run by the people who do the school newspaper.
The hub gives access to news, email, grades and other student links, and a message board.
I hhhhhhate the message board. I love posting on Wackbag, so I figured another message board would keep me entertained whenever Wackbag is having a slow day.
The fucking thing is full of too-cool-for-the-room smug college students (most of them on the extreme right, oddly enough) who always have to argue every single fucking post they see, because they obviously know more than everyone else. I fucking HHHHATE my generation. I can't wait to get old so I can be senile and actually have an excuse for hating them, because right now I just get called a dumbass when I point out how ridiculous someone my age is being.
And the damn thing is censored to shit. I can't even type DOUCHE without asterisks replacing it.
It is extremely strange to see so many conservatives on the board. I mean, Oklahoma is considered to be a very conservative school, but when you think of a university, or any place of education for that matter, you think of a place that has a very liberal mindset. There is a section on the board for Religion, and there is a popular thread started by a person that asks, "Is Ghandi in heaven even though he was Hindu?"
Yeah...wait, what?
Even on something as stupid as that, something that I believe and truly hope was not a serious question, all the fucking idiots have to argue back and forth over whether or not Ghandi is in Heaven, because everyone in college just HAS to have their voice heard, even if they have no fucking clue what is coming out of their mouth.
Read the doctrine on 'Religious Freedom' that came from the Second Vatican Ecumenical Councils in 1969, if you want to know what the Catholic Church thinks about such matters.
((Basically, yes.))
I have some time now to further explain instead of my vague post earlier.
Here is the doctrine on Religious Freedom: Declaration of Religious Freedom
That does not entirely sum up the Church's views.
Here's part of an article written by Jeffrey Weiss on the very topic of Ghandi, in regards to Ghandi having said, "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."
(quotes huge article like a douche)
A lot of this comes down to Sacramental theology, Covenental theology, and the significance and authority of the authors of the books in the New Testament.
But, I honestly believe that if someone is truly a great and good person, the decision is up to God. It's none of my business who goes to Hell, I'm just here to make sure my family and I are good people and good Catholics.
If I had a son and he grew up and decided to be a Buddhist or a Hindu, I wouldn't be angry. But you can bet dang sure that I'll study as much as I can about that faith and make sure they are abiding by it in the most strict and appropriate fashions.
In that sense, I think God honours meritous behaviour.

The Bible, if taken as the inspired Word of God, is fairly clear.
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)
Problem is how you interpret that.
Does it mean that you have to accept the Christ as your savior before that you can get into Heaven or that He is the judge of all souls (which I opt for), or both?
Hey assholes, let me let you in on a lil' sumpin
IT'S A NON-ISSUE.
Shut. The. Fuck. Up.
So recently I've just been blasting it with show references. For instance, there was a thread about how GREAT Vista was, so I went ahead and linked Ant's video. I've also thrown in a few FRRRRRRUNKISes, etc.
