Starting position really doesn't mean a whole lot here as long as you don't get caught up in the big one. You can go from the front to the back and back again in 10 laps. Gordon knows how to race here. Starting back there won't be a problem for him. I wish it was but it won't be.

I have the same feeling. You see it often where everyone wrecks behind the first couple cars on the last lap coming out of turn 4 and they let them race to the finish. Shitty for Martin, but congrats Happy

I think you're right BB1 so long as both drivers know they're supposed to be involved in a great finish. They can't incrementalize changes like that it confuses things. If a wreck on the last lap behind the leaders isn't going to result in a caution then change the rule. Looks to me like MM might have let up a bit at the end.
