Old PS1 games

Well, i recently got my hands on an old ps2 so now i can relive my middle school/high school days by playing some old ps1 games. I've been playing them for awhile and its the greatest. what are your fav ps1 games?

also, i'm looking to buy a copy of final fantasy 7, so if anyone has it please lets talk.

my favorite games are def "soviet strike' and 'nuclear strike'....its something about those helecopter games that just rocked.

Legends of Dragoon was great

and any of the Legacy of Kain games as well are must haves.

Shit I have all the games mentioned here. Good stuff.

My favorites are easily the Warhammer games: Shadow of the Horned Rat and Dark Omen.

You commanded a mercenary in real time battles. Think of the battles from Total War but in a fantasy setting. Cool plot lines and Dark Omen had the best and most satisfying ending of all PS1 games.

Medevil and Deathtrap Dungeon were cool as well.

As far ass ff7 goes I have one that I wont sell you but check amazon or ebay I am sure you can find one

i saw this thread earlier and it prompted me to get my old ps1 out and play some metal gear solid. Goddamn i love that game. Really sucks that my disk has a pretty deadly scratch on it that gets stuck right after you have to fight Cyborg Ninja. Gonna go hit up a pawn shop this week and try to find a good copy so i can play through it again

No sir, i live in arkansas, all the towns here are off white for the most part.

i could go to gamestop and pay $5 for it or i could go to a pawn show (pretty popular places in the meth driven area) and buy a dozen ps1 games for the same $5.

Plus gamestop doesn't sell guns :icon_cool

Wild ARMs 1 remains my favourite RPG. In fact RPGs was my primary reason for owning a PS1.

Personal psx faves include Destruction Derby 1, Twisted Metal 2, and a game called One. (A rarity, but it kicks your ass in the way Super Contra on the Snes does)

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo. It's not nearly as expensive on eBay and used shops as it used to be, and holy fuck, is it addicting. Better than Tetris (IS IT? Yes it is!) and you can turn a friend into an enemy playing against them.

Legacy of Kain:Soul Reaver = great PSX game.
LoK:Blood Omen = only if you're a fan of the LoK series
fun, gay little time waster = the Spyro series
Resident Evil series = can't belive nobody has mentioned
Star Ocean = rpg I never finished, but liked while I was playing it

I just got my hands on an old ps one, might have to dig some of the old games out. FF7 and FF8 along with the first silent hill and the tomb raider games.
The two discworld games are also worth looking out if you`ve never played them

There are 4 different endings(4 different characters), the gameplay is awesome, graphics are great by PS1 standards and most importantly it has partial nudity and girls kissing girls.

I had the 1st one and yea its a sweet game. Great ending too (the one where you shoot the devil guy in the head).
