There is already a handful of few very good games for the 360 worth playing before GTA4. I wasn't super-psyched about Crackdown until I played it, and HOLY SHIT that game is fun. Sandbox game like GTA but with a "superhuman" twist.

Anyway, I really hope they don't sacrifice city size for graphics. The city gets bigger and bigger with each new GTA game. San Andreas was HUGE, and I'm hoping that GTA4 will be even bigger. More vehicles and customization options would be good too. Saints Row really set a bar for customizing the cars.

My hope is that they do something similar to San Andreas as far as layout (a few Large cities with a bunch of open country in between and lots of small towns), only with the scale of everything being even closer to the real thing. Not real scale, just closer.

Bigger cities, bigger towns and more space in between. Not much more space in between, just enough to match the scale increase.

I love the cities in San Andreas, but once you get comfortable with them, they do seem a little small, even if they are some of the biggest in game history.

Also, I hope they have figured out a way to add more random content, like being able to go inside most buildings. If they have a good random building generator, they don't have to go through all the trouble of designing each and every interior.

I also hope they add a little more immersion. San Fierro never seemed very involved. Hopefully they will have gotten better at immersing you in every city in the game, even after you beat the main storyline.

Something similar to gang wars should be present in every city. There should be shit you can continue to do in each city forever, no matter if you have gotten 100% on the game or not.

I wanna be able to own the world (or as much if it as is shown in game) by the time I'm done.

Several of themissions were garbage. The one where you have to master an RC vehicle or shoot them down. Fuck that. CJ's a gangsta. He'd just kill the guy controlling them instead of running around playing with toys. Why should there be a mission that takes you 20 minutes to set-up just to fail at the last moment because of random chance(ie. the photo one and the LV plane to plane one)? Those missions stink.

I hated how they tried to make the characters act like Sims. I don't want to dance!

Was so easy to outrun the cops until you got 4 stars and they started sending the swat teams and road spikes.

But yeah. The most intelligent cops I've seen were the ones in Scarface: The World is Yours. Fucking brutal cops in that game. The ones in Mafia were pretty harsh too.

There is another game coming out exclusive for PS3 called 2 Days 2 Vegas, it's being called the realistic version of GTA. What I heared so far is that the reason why it's PS3 exclusive is because it can only fit on a Blu Ray format, The file sizes are so big and the realism used is incredible. They licensed the real names of vehicles and got the licensing for real landmarks. They spent 2+ years so far.

The Ship in the trailer has "Liberty City" on it and I spotted a "L.C.P.D." car. I think it's going to be a more accurate picture of NY than Liberty City ever was.

Looks good, and I hope there are planes and helicopters, since there has been no real fly able vehicles in any of the games that have Liberty City in it. In GTA III had the stupid Dodo that only flew for a few seconds at a time if you were lucky enough to get even that, and only got to see the planes in Liberty City Stories.

I also hope that swimming/diving is brought back as well, pretty much all the features of San Andreas just more fine tuned would make me happy minus the eating and working out cause that was just a bother.

I hope they keep the gore level up, Saints Row was missing that lil detail. I was referring to online multiplayer when I mentioned online gameplay functionality. Downloadable content has been confirmed already for both consoles and would likely cost the same for both PS3 and X360 if the DLC was for a fee.

But if GTA4 has online multiplayer (not confirmed) X360 players would have to upgrade to XBox Live Gold, which is about $60/yr isn't it?

I was referring to online multiplayer when I mentioned online gameplay functionality. Downloadable content has been confirmed already for both consoles and would likely cost the same for both PS3 and X360 if the DLC was for a fee.

But if GTA4 has online multiplayer (not confirmed) X360 players would have to upgrade to XBox Live Gold, which is about $60/yr isn't it?
