I never listen to the Free Fm portion of the show because I just cant get into the flow of it and dont find it that entertaining for that reason but 9am my XM is tuned to 202 all day .

Yesterday I was up early and out of the house about 6am , So I decided to give the Free FM portion of the show another shot and listen to it ...It is really hard to get into it no matter how hard the boys try to make it funny .

The part of the show that gave me douche chills was when anthony was trying to explain who Steve was and about the Steve from Yellowstone calls . Anthony couldnt even say that the Gay men at the convention were calling him a Bear ..He just said "Some of the people there " . It was painful to have to try to set up that bit with so much backstory that if you werent a old fan , like myself, I dont think the regular audience found it remotley funny

I mean cmon , They got into the bit about all the "Safe" radio show they are maiking fun of but it seems to me on that side they are turning into one ...just my opinion .

I still will listen to the XM portion because that is the best thing going on radio today ..hands down . I will flip back and fourth between music and the Free Fm side but it's not like I need to listen all the time because 1/2 of the time they are in commercial ...stupid Free Fm .

not that it bugged me much because I know they gotta fill in the "newbies" but I did notice it too.

but don't say the the show's gone downhill since they were xm only because the bbboys will get all upset and we are sposed to be eating our own here..

so in the honour of eating our own... you sir are wrong and should not think that way. YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO AN OPINION. change the channel and go away. You are not needed here.

Way to be a closed-minded douche who is completely wrong about the FM show. Maybe if you actually listened to it you'd know that. You went into your listening of the show yesterday morning hoping to prove yourself right that it 'sucked', and picked out something ridiculously minuscule to pick on because there wasn't an actual legitimate thing for you to complain about.

Go listen to some old NEW stuff and jerk off to the 'good old days'.

The free FM show makes me laugh. The serial killer part last week with Ant doing the hacksaw and singing had me laughing hard. Would I prefer that they be XM only? Of course, but they are still the best show around even with free FM.

As far eating our own goes, I think you are entitled to your opinion but once it's made move the fuck on to another subject. This is an O&A fan site. If the majority of your posts and threads are bashing the show then you need to move on to another site. imo.

The reason a lot of us (including the Opster) like to jump on stuff like this post is because the show is 3 hours long (if we're talking just FreeFM). If somebody comes on and talks about how they hate the show and then go on to talk about what amounted to being about 2 minutes worth of radio, it's fucking ridiculous and he deserves to be attacked for it.

Having an opinion is fine, but shit like this is ridiculous.

He was just giving an example. Give him an oppurtunity, I'm sure he could list several reasons, much like many others on this site can, of why he began tuning out of the FM show.

Example or not, it's such an awful one to use. It's just how Anthony happened to decide to present it yesterday. I didn't even notice if he was trying to be 'safe' in the way he described it, probably because he wasn't. He couldn't say that they were gay men? Are you SERIOUSLY implying that they can't say things like that? Because, and once again it's something that Dickie wouldn't know since he doesn't listen, they talk about stuff like that all the time. It's fucking ridiculous to imply that since Anthony didn't say 'Steve was talking with gay people' that O&A can't say that kind of stuff.

It comes off to me as the guy just looking for something to hate.

I listen to the XM feed of the entire show since I do not live in a market they broadcast over the air.

I preferred the XM only show because it did seem to flow better and because I liked the fact they would go over an hour in between breaks. You could really get into the show that way.

That being said, if I lived in NY, Philly, Buffalo, etc... and did not have XM, there is no other show on radio that can touch O&A.

The rest of Free FM is a steaming pile of shit, O&A is is like a diamond sitting on that steaming pile.
