I think bitching and nitpicking about things on the message board is fine. Isn't that what the message board is here for? To offer one's opinion on the show? If there's negative feedback from listeners out there, let them post it. Don't try to hide it and only let positive posts get through. When I bitched in a listening thread and anthony ranted about it on-air, I started a new thread to continue the discussion as I didn't hear it until the replay and I got banned. Isn't that what the boards are for?

I never listen to the Free Fm portion of the show because I just cant get into the flow of it and dont find it that entertaining for that reason but 9am my XM is tuned to 202 all day .

Yesterday I was up early and out of the house about 6am , So I decided to give the Free FM portion of the show another shot and listen to it ...It is really hard to get into it no matter how hard the boys try to make it funny .

The part of the show that gave me douche chills was when anthony was trying to explain who Steve was and about the Steve from Yellowstone calls . Anthony couldnt even say that the Gay men at the convention were calling him a Bear ..He just said "Some of the people there " . It was painful to have to try to set up that bit with so much backstory that if you werent a old fan , like myself, I dont think the regular audience found it remotley funny

I mean cmon , They got into the bit about all the "Safe" radio show they are maiking fun of but it seems to me on that side they are turning into one ...just my opinion .

I still will listen to the XM portion because that is the best thing going on radio today ..hands down . I will flip back and fourth between music and the Free Fm side but it's not like I need to listen all the time because 1/2 of the time they are in commercial ...stupid Free Fm .

This thread wasn't really about that, it's mainly about idiots that correct the guys when they mispronounce things. But going to that point, we don't have to be positive all the time. There are things about the show I don't particularly like. But I'm not sending instant feedbacks or hiding behind some fake name when I mention the few things I don't like. Wanna know what I don't like? I don't like porn stars on the radio. I don't like when message board people are guests (thats mainly on R&F but O&A do it sometimes too). But you know what? When I hear something I don't like, I listen for a bit and something that I do like comes up. Thats the nature of the show. They're not doing the show for me. They're doing it for us. this is the problem were having...if opie complains about something everyone takes it to the fucking extreme, your allowed to have a opinion but when people fucking complain because they have to explain something they need to calm down and realize that not every part of the show is for them...we love the show and listen all the time, but the truth is especially on the free fm side that most listeners arent avid fans and they are just listening while driving to work...you may be thinking fuck them they should care about us, but you gotta realize that if they dont get those listeners they would be pulling DLR numbers because the xm listeners are spread all over the country...its cool to goof here and there about the recaps and some of the stuff they do thats repetitive but before u do it remember not everything on the show is for you...enjoy :)

She's the only one who is so clearly negative as to complain about how they always have to explain things for the new listeners, insults Opie's musical preferences to the point it becomes cliche, makes fun of Opie for thinking Snatch is better than Citizen Kane, has a sig pic (a concept which for some reason pisses off Jimmy), has over 10,000 posts, offers critiques of the show in a mocking way, and whose screenname isn't their real name.

I honestly can't think of anyone else who fits those criteria.

Ya know what, if you don't think they're funny on FM again, you're not a real fan of the show. Seriously. I don't like the FM language limitations either but I laugh at the entire show, both sides.
