Psycho Mark..who was he like on the show now?

I was not able to listen during the 'NEW days, but being a radio geek years ago, I knew of them, and heard great clips.
I know Psycho Mark was part of the show.
What exactly was his job?...or who now does what he did?
Was he like E-Rock, Steve C., or what?
Sorry. But, I've really been a faithful listener since they came to XM.
I'll do some internet searches on the guy,but I know longer-time listeners can explain what he was about a lot better.

He was similar to E rock I guess. The show was very different back then. The biggest difference is that Mark was an asshole. Crazy as a shit house rat, dope head, drunk, crazy fuck.

Made for great rasio. Much better than when he came on the few times on XM. He seems like he takes himself much too seriously now.

...and yeah, I listened a majority of 'NEW stuff on kiddie porn central aka OAvirus..
The show had a whole different feel. I would expect them to change as time marches on, but the damn FCC and CBS rule book can go fuck themselves since they've made radio so much more difficult for the boys or anyone somewhat edgy.

I don't think he had a position that translates to anyone wiht the show today. He was one of the guys that did production for WNEW kinda like Steve was in those days. But he was the original pest. He had the biggest balls and he was very creative. No Filter Paul may be the leader in assaults on the media today but Mark invented them and perfected them.

nobody. Psycho Mark was one of a kind. He was the hack man on the street, i'll do anything guy, except the way he did it was far from hack. It seemed that he would argue with cops and not really care for authority. Hence the firing.

He perfected the sign behind the reporter guy and was the reason the reporters had to broadcast from the top of their news vans.

The show was very different back then due to the beer. Sam adams was giving them beer as a sponsor. So nobody is in the same place mentally now that mark was half the time.

I really think we should bring back a full assault on the media. Who cares who we get, from CBS to ABC. O and A don't have to back it and if they don't back it and it continues, how can they possibly be in any trouble from the company? O and A aren't responsible for our actions unless they specifically tell us to go out and do something. CBS and XM aren't bringing the advertising to us so let's do it for them ten fold. Perhaps one of us will become the new psycho mark and get "CUNT" on tv

oh, and mark was a production guy... "stacker Twwoo" doing voice overs and stuff.

I can't think of anyone on the show right now who compares to Psycho MaaaahhK. He was indeed the original pest. He was the one who got the CUNT sign on a newsbroadcast. Shit he was the one who invented the assault on the media. He was the one who made the Sex for Sam contest as great as it was. He was fired for getting his couple to have anal sex on Super GM Ken Stevens' couch in his office. Psycho Maaahk was the life of the party at the first Homeless Shopping Spree.

As far as what he did for the show, I believe he worked for WNEW as was previously said. I know that he and Ben came to NYC with the show from Boston. But I think they got hired by WNEW. (Steve always had his own gig at WNEW and did their production stuff as a sub-contract. That is why he didn't get fired after SFS III. He had distanced himself from the show enough.) Psycho Maahk did some voice over work and recorded commercials and shit. But he also did techie stuff. He should still be working for Fawwx I believe. He was working for Fawx on 9/11 and his apartment was basically a few thousand feet from the towers. He had a camera set up in his living room for the next two weeks. He's the guy who does the technical stuff when Fawx does an interview. He puts your mic on, sets the levels, etc.

Someone should find the video of him on a tank or an APC, whatever it was, railing shells out of a .50 caliber. The true meaning of his ACK ACK ACK ACK. He would end prank calls with an, "AK-AK-AK-AK-AK-AK-AK-Ak .50 CALIBER."
