Used Craigslist?

Got home last night drunk after a St. Pat's party. I was bored and wanted to get a jack in. Came across a porn forum where craigslist was the topic of discussion, and checked it out for the first time.

Anyone here use it for legit stuff, or use it to "go skiing" or pay for ass?

I usually have a good eye for scams but this is a world i'm not privy to.

I just used it for the first time a few weeks ago. Got a great deal on an old boat, motor and trailer.

I haven't seen anything that was a decent deal so far there but I have used the dfw.forsale newsgroup to get a lot of stuff for very cheap. I even got my car form there a few years back. Some of the prices I see posted on Craig's List are delusional.

I just used it for the first time. bought me a nice wood locking gun cabinet for 75 bucks from someone that lives about 10 miles from me. it's nice to be able to meet these people in person and inspect the merchandise before buying. same applies to meeting women.

I bought a car and found an apartment on craigs list a few years ago. Both were great deals. My brother got a 20 foot sailboat free from some guy who was too old to keep up with it, and they became good friends. I have heard bad things, but a lot more good ones.

Craigslist is a good alternative to your local newspaper for things other than sex... Doubtful you will get decent deals..

Classified rates are so outrageous now...

I've bought and sold a few things on CL...

Sold our old washer/dryer set. Was kind of a pain in the ass. I had one bitch who kept putting off coming to get them, so I ended up selling them to someone else who came right away.

Bought a woodstove, but the guy gave me the wrong measurments. He gave me the measurements out of the manual instead of measuring it himself. Once we got the thing home, it wouldn't fit my fireplace. I checked the emails and it turns out he gave me the ones for the smaller model. I ended up selling it on eBay for a $400 profit.

My brother-in-law has his truck listed on there for sale. No legit bits on it yet. Just the Nigerian scammers...

There was probably other stuff, too. It's really really useful.

I just picked up a part for my truck today that I found on craigslist

My cousin got a great deal on a SUV from there

I look for Computer Gigs on there every day

I post my computer business in the services section, and have gotten a few jobs from it.
