A father of two has filmed himself committing suicide live over the internet via a webcam. Terrified chatroom users watched as Kevin Whitrick hanged himself, while others egged him on.

A member of the PalTalk site contacted West Midlands Police, who in turn alerted police in Shropshire. They rushed to Mr Whitrick's address in Orleton Lane at 11.15pm on Wednesday evening but announced him dead at the scene.
