i was just watching new york local abc news and they ran the story of the boys's apology. they showed a clip of their walk this morning to xm. it looked like they were on their way to a firing squad, and i'll bet $1,000 anthony didn't receive a call, he just needed to do something with his hands. they looked scared to death with big dumb kenny walking behind them.

its not about that really... its about whether this will affect the xm-sirius merger...

so while no group is really calling for them to get fired (yet) the media scrutiny is bad and this could piss off some people at the FCC and put an end to the meger... (remember the majority of the fcc is GOP and this was aimed at the GOP Sec of State and the wife of the GOP prez.)

FYI... i am in no way saying i agree with this line of thinking... and i think its stupid... personally i think we are doomed as a country as long as a group of people in a government agency can block a merger of a company based on their own personal feelings...

but this is what is being said... and we need to make sure XM understands that O&A have a massive fan base of support and we wont go quietly... so keep on sending those emails and making those calls... dont stop for a second...

and for those of you who are too lazy to do anything or wont get involved because this is something only a "pest" would do... i say a big fuck you... dont bitch when O&A are off the air... because this is serious... its go time... and as a fan of the show you need to take 5 minutes to shoot off a few emails... and 5 minutes to make a few calls... it takes no time to do...
and if you think your email or phone call wont help... well, you are dead wrong... when XM and cbs receive thousands of emails and phone calls they take note... we are their bread and butter... without us they would loose advertisers... we have the ability to innodate XM and CBS with emails and phone calls... to jam up their switch boards and to fill up their mailboxes... lets do it... lets not wait and be lazy and then get screwed out of our show.

Thats an excellent point, if I were in the market for a satellite system, which would I choose, the uncensored howard stern (yechhh) or xm who just issued a press release that they disagreed with O&A's comments and hasn't been overly supportive.
