anybody catch this on CNN? doesn't look like it replays, she did about 20 mins on it. one of the dudes she had on was pretty smart, the rest of them were agenda driven douchebags.
She opened her monologue with "how can they get away with this?!"
her and some dyke kept trying to push how deplorable it was and make people believe that they should be upset over this. fucking bullshit

They had many of the facts wrong and took things out of context.

Rachel Maddow...sigh...what a complete bore and an Air America flunky. I guess because they have vaginas, she and Paula Zahn have some kind of great insight into the "deplorable" remarks made on the O&A show. I switched over from the O'Reilly debacle to this to see these two idiots grandstanding.
I wish for once my gender would just stand up to what men may say about them with a simple "Whatever" and move on. Instead they can't play victim fast enough, especially when it's someone they don't even know.

If you watch Paula Zahn, pay attention to the segment later on where they talk about smoking in movies. I'm pretty sure they went on about it being no big deal. Now, between smoking and **** jokes, WHICH ONE CAN ACTUALLY KILL YOU?

No kidding. Someone once told me there are those who see what is but don't see what can be for themselves. Women want to be equal but too many aren't willing to do what is necessary for them to be even remotely equal. Shit like this doesn't help.

About O&A:
RACHEL MADDOW, RADIO TALK SHOW HOST: I think that these guys should get fired.
But I thought that Don Imus should get fired, too. I don't think that I want the government establishing speech codes. But the way I understand free speech is that you have a right to say whatever you want, but you don't have a right to get paid to say it on the radio or to say it on television.
And, whether or not the outrage is going to be at the same level, or higher or -- or lower than it was for Imus, I think that crosses the line. I think that XM should fire them. I think it's a political decision to them as to whether or not they do.
About smoking in movies:
MADDOW: If we're going to have the rating system that we have it ought to include smoking and trans fats and seatbelts and all of those things. But maybe we ought to realize that the harm we would cause our society by getting rid of all of these depictions of things that we find to be bad for you would be worse than actually having to endure those scenes in movies.
Again, WHICH OF THE TWO THINGS CAN ACTUALLY KILL YOU?

"ANDERSON: After only one hour on the air, they signed off for the day. Their XM program usually runs nearly three hours.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Simple as this. We're going home early today.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: While fans in a chat room who watch a daily Webcast of the XM show on Paltalk.com typed their displeasure at the decision to apologize, the guys in the eye of the latest free speech storm ended their abbreviated show today seeming somewhat defiant."
BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Real fans, they understand, trust me.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
..........
Good they were scrambling for clips and O and A gave them fucking nothing. No soundbites at all. They know what their doing.

Rachel Maddow...sigh...what a complete bore and an Air America flunky.
Rachel Maddow is jumping on? Give me a fucking break. I thought that so-called "progressives" were supposed to be all about the Constitution? Maybe she should re-read the First Amendment and see that it does not include a right to NOT be offended.
Some people may find her political views to be offensive. Does that mean that she should be fired or silenced? Unpopular, contraversial speech is the very reason why the First Amendment exists.

I am in shock that a ten minute segment on Wednesday has blown up like this. Was what anybody said threatening in any way? Could people like Paula Zahn, Bill O'Reilly, and Rachael Maddow really believe this was anything more than a crazy homeless guy ranting? How do people conjure up such outrage for something so unimportant?
As much as I dislike Rush Limbaugh he's right about one thing, the Drive-by Media. They pick a target and spray accusations all over the place and just as quickly move on to the next target.
It's sickening that people like O'Reilly and Maddow, people that have never listened to the show or understand what Opie and Anthony do, feel they have the right to judge the content of a show that broadcasts over 25 hours a week based on ten seconds. They do not get the show, the show is not for them, why is it any of their concern? It is not free radio, it can't harm "innocent ears".
They target O&A because it is easy to take the moral highground. Sure, they said a naughty thing, but who does it hurt, and why should anyone who wasn't listening care? Only O&A fans listen to O&A on XM, simple as that. I'd guess that under 1,000,000 million people were listening live when the segment took place. So 0.03 percent of the country, people that were subscribers and sought out O&A, heard the comment. Why do they care?
XM is now in a bad position. They have been really good about this type of thing before. While I am not in a position to know for sure, it seems XM gave O&A free reign. But now that the Media has got it's claws on O&A, XM has some big problems in regards to public image. They will be attacked for serving their customers well. They are guilty of giving us what we wanted. We are guilty for taking it.
The media had no reason to get involved, this type of talk is for certain people, and those people pay XM to hear it. It broke no laws and incited nothing. It was the mad rantings of a homeless man, nothing more. There is no need to take the Secretary of State into protective custody. She never would have heard about the comments, or most likely cared, unless the media demanded it.
So here we are again. The media has locked it's sights on O&A and has opened fire. The calls for them to be fired have already been aired. The media never stops to ask itself if it their job to call for other people's jobs. It's all about ratings, and if dirty talk shows generate ratings, then that will be the topic of the day.
An entire town was flattened by a tornado last weekend, half of the country seems to on fire, the feds busted a terror plot to shoot-up a military base, there was a plot uncovered to attack American interests in Germany, we are in the midst of two wars, and we are in a global fight against terrorism. That should be enough to fill any news show.
So why even care? At least Imus was on TV and free radio. The only way to be outraged by this comment was to seek it out in order to be outraged about something so you can get on your soapbox and scream to world, "I am better than you!".
Congratulations to people like Mancow, O'Reilly, and their simplistic ilk. They can sleep well at night knowing they have saved the world blue humor. XM will now be targeted. They will be hounded to fire O&A, despite the fact they are the sole reason many of people subscribe. The media doesn't care that XM is giving people what they want. Who are the paying customers to decide what they what to listen to? XM doesn't deserve this, neither to O&A, and neither do we, the paying customers.
Sorry for the length, but I am just so disgusted at the reaction to this bit I had to get it out.

I think you pretty much nailed it. We live in the era of Newsertainment, where even "serious news" shows dedicate large segments of time to lurid, tabloid style dreck.
I was watching CNN this evening, and despite all of the real news mentioned above, I sat slack-jawed as they ran a massive segment (it must have been half an hour long) on Paris Hilton.
And for these salacious cocksuckers who run the media, the O&A story has everything- sex, violence, race, profanity, major celebrities and public figures... It has nothing to do with news anymore, bro.

Paula Zahn is also a race-baiting cunt. During her "race" segments, she was gushing at Rev Shrapton, laughing at all his little niggling:haha7: comments, and generally acting like, "I'm the UNDERSTANDING white ho, see?".
She is a self hating white as well as a self hating American, preferring to trash the USA so she can go to her little caviar parties and get patted on the back.
Meanwhile, doesn't she live in that building that was evicting those faggoty hawks?

Boy.. first the airwaves... soon the internets.
My email to Paula:
When a guest on a pay-per-listen says something as disgusting about sexual acts on a public figure, CNNs Paula Zahn calls for the firing of the hosts of the show - comparing it to calling for the presidents assasination.
Paula, we both know you're not outraged by that audio clip. Please don't get influenced by the over-political-correctness of todays society. I think your fans and the public deserves an apology from you.
Opie and Anthony should not be fired for this.

She has a radio show that O&A casts a shadow over. Mancow has a "show" that O&A casts a shadow over. They're knocking O&A hoping they can fill their spot. Maddow is a fucking dyke. One of these liberal, freedom to women type bitches. Yes. Bitches. So she wants her version of free speech enforced? Hmm. Unfortunately for her it's not the United States of Dykes. Nor the United States of African Americans. I HATE Maddow ever since I heard her manvoice in that stupid commercial talking about "well informed electorates" and thomas jefferson. Fuck her.

PAULA ZAHN IS A ADULTEROUS, HOME WRECKING WHORE. Literally.
http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/07099/776491-351.stm
Last week we mentioned that CNN's Paula Zahn and her high-powered real estate hubby, Richard Cohen, were calling it quits.
Well, now we know why.
Ms. Paula reportedly hooked up with multi-billionaire Paul Fribourg, a friend of the family who is also married, according to the New York Daily News.
Maybe they just really liked each other's name.
Anyway, while Paula and Richard wade through this mess with their pit bull divorce attorneys, Mr. Fribourg is reportedly vacationing with his wife
