OK, I thinking through this. I think I got it:

1. Attack on Free FM.
2. The overwhelming assault on Free FM finally forces the industry to shut down permanently.
3. XM/Sirius become the new leaders of ALL radio airwaves.
4. A new deal is made where commercials come back as they do now in free FM airwaves.

Maybe I'm too high and drunk to think, let alone post, this.

I can get channels 2-13 with electricity and rabbit ears. To see tits I have to pay. Radio is gonna work the same way.

Here's a better conspiracy theory: Yesterday I saw a commercial on Fox News for some car company, don't remember which. Throughout the entire commercial was promotion for Sirius satellite radio. Fox News has been the main force in pushing the O&A story, and of course O&A are on XM, Sirius' competition.

I blame the Jews. When you can't figure out the angle or motivation for a conspiracy theory, it's probably the Jews. Also if a conspiracy theory doesn't make sense, remember that the Jews work in mysterious ways.

Conspiracy:

The government is using its tool Fox News to push their regulation, censorship agenda on satellite.

This is why this is being pushed by "political commentators" and not anyone in radio or moralists.

The people who are supposedly upset are those that want think kind of free and open talk to end, and they all ask if the government should intervene.

Simple: Sirius is a Halliburton subsidiary run by Kellogg, Brown & Root. If XM goes under, it enriches Dick Cheney and his fat cat friends, so they're using Fox to try to sink XM.

They raised Charlie's rent, knowing he couldn't pay on his painters salary.
Pretty much a guarantee he'd become homeless and wind up on the show.
