Any opinions? I'm thinking of switching and would like to hear some opinions on each.

i been with netflix since 2004 so my opinion may be a lil biased but i have also tried blockbuster out for a while as well. The main reason i like netflix is that its easy to choose movies and there offer to what else you would like i think is much better than netflix. When i was with blockbuster online most of the movies came in on time. Also trying to find a move that i wanted seemed to be a hassle and they didnt have what i wanted in or it was a very long wait. the reason i like netflix so well is they make it simple and easy to use and have a shit load of movies to pick from.

I have no experience with either company but i would say blockbuster just due to the fact that you can go to the store and pick up a movie rather than wait for it by mail.

I've got to go with Netflix. The ability to watch online leagaly is definately the deciding factor for me.
Granted, their selection is somewhat limited, but being able to turn it off after 10-15 minutes and pick something else is definately a bonus. That and not having wasted a queue spot or a trip to the corner store ain't half bad either.

Unfortunately, I've never used Netflix but I have had NO problems with Blockbuster online. You get a lot more options and benefits for a pretty similar price. The movies come really quickly and I haven't had an issue with selection yet.

Ballbricker also gives you a couple of coupons you can print out each move and turn in for free video game rentals at a physical store. Them's seven bucks a pop right there.

I like the BB online. As said before the free game rental a month is cool. The ability to take your envelopes into the store and get free rentals with them on the spot seals it for me. You almost feel like youre ripping them off, its pretty good shit for 3 movies at a time for $20 or so a month.

I use netflix and never had a problem with them. Nothing bets getting a new movie in your mall box when you get home.

Was using netflix for over year and dumped them. It was close to impossible to get new releases after a while and they would slow mailing if I sent back movies too quickly. Now I do it the old fashioned way and wait on line with other moes at my local blockbuster. I find it less aggravating.

Netflix, for the simple reason that Blockbuster used to edit movies to conform to family standards. I'm not sure if this is still the case, but they have done it in the past so fuck'em.

I had netflix. I cancelled it because towards the end it was taking 4-6 days for the system to officially 'recieve' my returned movies, even though the discs themselves got there in 1-2 days.

I have BB online and as everyone above said, the exchanging envelopes deal and coupons for video games are good options.

been with netflix for a while and have not had any of the problems people have mentioned above. If something is at the top of my que, I dont have issue in getting it the day its released

Really it's a no-brainer. Being able to go to the store and get 3 more movies while you wait for the next 3 to come in the mail is a great deal. Blockbuster also has a better blue-ray and hd dvd selection. Everyone here should go look at Mr. Norton's dvd reviews on both sites. Plenty of great reviews from Lil Conor, Robert Reed and the gang.

Blockbuster also gives you 2 free store rentals a month, that you can use for movies or games. Game rentals are like $7 a piece, so that almost pays for the monthly fee!
