I disagree with "One Hot Minute", it's not horrible.
Neil Young's "Old Ways" isn't worse than "Mirror Ball" or "Trans"
Add some to the list. The Beatles, obviously "Yellow Submarine"

Yellow Submarine was a soundtrack, not an album so it probably wouldn't qualify. The only Beatles album that might be considered would be "Let it Be," but it had three number ones so it's hard to do that.
Was "One Hot Minute" the one with Aeroplane? I kind of liked that album.
And "Cut the Crap" shouldn't be considered a Clash album. Mick was gone, it's basically a Joe Strummer solo record with session guys.

I'd have to disagree with 'One Hot Minute'. That was the last Chili Peppers album I was remotely interested in

I have more of a problem with Rolling Stone calling the Chili Peppers a "Great Band."

Good point.
I'm drunk or I'd have pointed that out.

That is a good point, RHCP aren't great. It is the one with Aeroplane, and I think the other hit was My Friends.
I think it was the only album with Dave Navaro as well.
"Let It Be" is great, Two Of Us, Dig A Pony, Across The Universe, Long and Winding Road, Let It Be.

I love it as well. I think it gets shit because the Beatles and George Martin really didn't have a hand in it's production and thus, didn't sound like any other album of theirs. It could have been phenomenal because the songs were there, but it's merely great.
Phil Specter fucked it up, by the way. But if he hadn't, I guess the album never would have been made so it's a catch 22.

Most of these records are really just mediocre, not their worst efforts. Bowie's Tonight isn't nearly as bad as the abortion that followed it, Never Let Me Down. At least Tonight is full of Iggy Pop covers.
How Diver Down ranks lower than the Cherone-era VH is beyond me.
Old Ways by Neil Young is a cool little album; I'd put Are You Passionate on that list long before Old Ways.
However, anything for the Rolling Stones after Tattoo You stinks beyond belief, so I can't argue with Dirty Work.

yeah im shocked that they had Diver Down on there above VH3, but then again maybe its cause VH3 & a Gary Cherone led Van Halen never happened. it was all just a bad nightmare
