Can anyone get some lyrics from some songs that would play on that channel? I am sure you will find more offensive things than O&A ever said. i am not saying they should be censored but lets just compare a little. I am not familiar with rap and hip hop. Maybe someone that knows it a little better could help us out.

The deal with Hip Hop and music in general is it starts at home. Don't mistake it, Hip Hop is under "attack." If I can find the video of TI at a recent press conference I'll post it.

If that's what you believe. Personally I believe XM needed an excuse to censor them on uncensored radio. That way they can appease to NOW and not appear like they are supporting censorship at the same time. Why are you taking what XM management is saying at face value?

That's just a bullshit excuse. They shouldn't have been forbidden to talk about any of it. And the two events were related to each other and all led to the suspension. The reason they were in hot water to begin with was the homeless Charlie comments.

I pointed this hypocrisy out to E.Lo in an email about an hour after announced suspension.

Granted, they weren't suspended for the actual segment, but it was for the reaction to that segment. I asked him how XM can penalize an unscripted live show, when XM chooses to air pre-recorded content that people could find far more objectionable on many other channels (Rap, Comedy,etc.)

The point is not to get XM to pull that content from other channels, but to realize that it is a normal part of their everyday programming and to say to the uptight congressmen and special interest groups that they will not let them dictate what is acceptable artistic content for the people who pay for the content.
