Chris Lewis is one XM Satellite Radio subscriber who is incensed with the 30 day suspension give to Opie & Anthony by their employer over a recent offensive segment. "This event is a shining example of the orgy between XM Satellite Radio, Sirius Satellite Radio, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in light of the pending monopolistic merger between these two Media Giants. It's borderline corruption.
You have paid your hard earned money to listen to Opie and Anthony in addition to other XM programming, but they have been censored to satisfy XM's own greedy needs.
Show XM Satellite Radio that you will not stand for these business tactics and censorship. Call XM and cancel your subscription TODAY."

- "The only reason O&A are off the air is because Hugh Panero wants a big f****** pay day when the merger happens."

- "At the very least it is hypocrisy at an exponential rate and a sure sign you are lining up to lick the boot heels of the FCC."
- "I cancelled my 1 sub on 5/17.. I was offered 1 free month and a minute later was offered 3 free months."
Note from that last post, it appears XM is trying to mitigate the fallout from Opie & Anthony fans canceling by offering some free time on their subscriptions.
