I dont know how many of you are members of the 'doghouse' JV and Elvis forum http://takinabreak.com/doghouseforums/ but when we had that little tiff with them I still have an active name over there so I still get their emails.

Well the email from them this morning was interesting.

Would you make the jump to satellite radio if the Dog House were to move over?

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? I understand some of the doghouse fans have become supportive but what a lovely time to have a poll to submit to "some people over in the satellite industry" that we the fans of this show would like to see them on your airwaves when WE KNOW THERE IS AN OPENING.

There is plenty of room on one satellite for both O&A and JV&E. They were probably making plans to do this before O&A got suspended. Where else are they supposed to go? I think you're looking a little too far into it, they are not trying to replace the boys. We should be supporting those guys, and any other radio personalities being affected by this recent wave of censorship.

The "wave of censorship" isn't coming from commercial radio this time, it's coming from satellite radio. Though it probably wouldn't, JV&E going to say, XM would have the intention of bringing along new listeners aboard XM. Which would be going against our cause right now, obviously.

Also, I believe the majority are supporting JV&E on one thing and one thing only: the fact that they fell victim to the same censorship BS that Imus and now O&A fell to. Beyond that, does anybody give a shit about JV&E?

i wouldnt blame their fans for trying to get JV and Elvis on XM or Sirius. its not like theres alot of choices out there. like 2 companies control terrestrial and 2 satellite. and the satellites are merging. where are you gunna go? they want their show back.

I don't view this as JV & Elvis going after O&A's job, just trying to figure out where THEIR next job could come from. Could be Sirius. Howard has made a habit of going after anyone O&A have fought with.

I kind of thought that they would be going to one of the satellite companies once they got fired.

Dude, I don't blame them one bit. It is tough to get a job in radio. Plus it looks like the fans, not the jocks. I don't have a problem with any XM personalities, I just have a problem with XM upper management.

I got as far as "I dont know how many..." but look, if XM execs apologize for making a mistake with the suspension and let their on air talent do and say what they want, then XM can be a haven for free expression. That said, I see no reason why there couldn't be a place on XM for JV and Elvis and Imus. I'm not saying that place would be XM 202, I'm just saying I'd support XM giving them a chance to suceed. THere's enough room for them on the platform -assuming that XM will rethink their position on free expression.
