Great find! Everything was dead on correct except when the guest said Homeless Charlie had no idea who O&A were.

Everything was so dead on correct as to "Hey, if you don't like it... TOUGH! It's unregulated, listen to something else!" I loved the obvious point that Mr. Smith made when he said "If we start regulating this we're finished!"

Thanks mikepop!

He acted all disgusted at first, but the discussion afterwards between him and the judge was actually good. They were actually saying they shouldn't have had to apologize. I agree.

I got the impression that he was disgusted that they were doing a story on this at all (not at their comments). Did you catch him reading the TelEPrompt, then saying "that's not true" after he said that they were the ones discussing the ****? Shepard Smith: Closet Pest? You decide.

That was a good clip.

And I did notice him saying "That's not true." at what they were getting him to say. I wish he had commented more on that.

I just sent this to studiob@foxnews.com

Thank You,

I did not see the original broadcast, however I found a link to it today and watched the video. I want you to know that my appreciation for you has grown. In today's environment it is hard to find honest broadcasters who understand Free Speech and Opie and Anthony's right to speak about topics some find offensive and disgusting. As you and the Judge so correctly stated it was not on the free airwaves but on a pay satellite service. I hope that in your position you can do as much as humanly possible to continue to get this message across. Because as you stated during the piece it will get really scary when the government starts to monitor satellite radio, t.v. and cable.

Again just wanted to thank you and ask that you continue to promote the right of people to continue to speak freely in the United States of America.

Thank You,
Paul Lynch

I emailed a letter of thanks to Mr. Smith, and I think every pest should do the same. Granted, our energies should be focused on XM and the sponsors. But we need to thank people who are being fair about this too. I can't stand Fox News, but I'll tell you one thing... I will watch this guy's show. His was a very lonely voice on the 15th, and he deserves credit. Bravo, sir.
