God ths is a trainwreck but the viewing options are limited so I'm sticking with it for now. Can't say how I'll feel if it's up against Big Brother though.

the host is just as (if not more) annoying that Ryan Seacrest...jesus she's horrible
there were some good vids, I hate they only get a minute, but it's pretty cool. I'm in.

She claps like a seal. I just want to throw her a fish. The videos will probably get longer once there are fewer people. I would hope so.

"Getta Room" was great and the way they ripped that apart last night was fucking insulting, saying the guy seemed "mentally disabled".
Have they ever seen a Farrley brothers movie?
I'd rip the guy for ripping off Kip from Napolean Dynamite, but not because the actor seemed retarded in it.
The preview looked really good, but that wasn't the assignment, it's actually harder to tell a one minute movie with a beginning, middle, and end, in one minute, than doing a trailer and just having the best bits of a script he's probably already written.

I would rather deal with her since I just get lost looking at her boobies. But she does suck, I think as they get to a smaller group it will get better and the movies will be longer.

Ditto....the brawd is a looker but, holy fuck.........WORST HOST EVER!!!
Did you catch her cupping her ear every 2 minutes? The producer must have been telling her to STFU and move along in her ear piece.

Fucking hollywood / tv patting themselves on the backs once again, self obsessed douches. Look at how many movies about film makers, actors, scripts, etc. there are. And they always get critical praise.

Yeah I spent the time the camera was on her deciding if her tits are real or fake... the jury is still out on that one.
I kind of feel bad for her, because you can tell she wants to be a sincere host, but she is really bad.
The show's first 2 episodes were ok, but I don't like the setup these past 2 eps have had, they are way too American Idol like.

I feel like I missed an episode somewhere in there. They were assigned to work in a studio and make some 3 minute film which narrowed it down to 18 only we never saw that. Kind of weird. Seems like they're making it up as they go along or something.

They ditched a few episodes I think. It's obvious Fox is going for a Family Guy strategy here.

Yeah I rewinded it to watch it again since they SHOWED a clip of one of the girls moving on to the final 18. I didn't think I missed an episode. As long as I'm not the only one out there questioning my sanity.

I liked the first two episodes because they were more like Project Greenlight. I noticed we missed episode 3 as well. They must have retooled the show to be more like American Idol. I don't care for the new format at all.

FOX TRIMS 'ON THE LOT' TO ONE WEEKLY AIRING
By Brian Ford Sullivan (TFC)
LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- After another week of sagging ratings, FOX has dropped its Monday edition of "On the Lot."
The series will now condense its competition and results shows into one weekly one-hour program, airing Tuesdays at 8:00/7:00c starting June 5.
Said schedule will continue until its two-night finale airs on Monday, August 13 and Tuesday, August 14 (both at 8:00/7:00c). (The series will also have a special Monday, 8:00/7:00c airing on July 9 due to the network's coverage of the MLB All-Star Game on July 10.)
In its place on Mondays at 8:00/7:00c, FOX will run repeats of "House" and "Hell's Kitchen" on June 4 and June 11, respectively, while a mix of "The Simpsons," "American Dad" and "Family Guy" encores will fill the hour for the rest of the summer.
As a result of the change, FOX will shift "The Loop's" previously announced Tuesday airings (June 5 and June 12) to Sundays at 7:30/6:30c on June 24 and July 1. The news means that "The Loop" will air at 7:30/6:30c, 8:30/7:30c and 9:30/8:30c on said nights. (Regular 7:30/6:30c occupant "King of the Hill" then will move to 7:00/6:00c on those two nights.)

Anyone else still watching? I read something in 'Entertainment Weekly' about how bad the ratings are. Apparently that's why they're kind of speeding up the process and editing out stuff (like when it inexplicably went from 25 to 18 contestants).

and what about the rest of the people? I'm confused....
Simby19

It was down to 15 people, 5 were picked randomly last week and they showed their shorts then one got the boot tonight. 5 were picked out of the remaining 10 to show their's tonight; one will get the boot next week and the remaining 5 will show their stuff. It's quite the system.

So they took what should have been one week and are stretching it out over three? What's the point if there aren't going to be weekly challenges for the contestants?

Its still bogus to me how half did comedy and half do horror but ok. Still think they should just hand it to Zach and call it a day.
