I remember watching a TV show and one of the main cast member was black. in the show they re doing a family tree but he wasn't able to go back very far cause his family had been slaves. So another person on the show said that most black people took the names of the people who owned them.


So as a white child in a mostly all black school I thought it was funny that there was a black guy with my last name :)

the reason I bring this up is cause a guy came in to the hotel tonight with the my same last name. I smiled to myself. :)
