Funny you bring up RVs. Last time I went to vegas, my friends and I drove an RV there. We left at 4am and got there about 22 hours later. Fun times. But i would rather fly, which is what I mostly do.

lotr Return of the King on TNTHD. I want to tivo the entire thing and watch it later, but it's 4:15 with commercials, and our tivo only holds 20hrs of hd. I only need to save the part with the lighting of the beacons, it's the best material to demo the projector with. so now I get to watch commercials until I get to that part so I can record just that. It's worth it though, it looks fantastic.

i found an OLEVIA 1080i 42" for $850
my mother in law just got an olevia 720i 27" for less than 500, its a nice pitcher but she wont get a digital box. she just has basic cable. the good thing is the broadcast digital channels come up on her tv, it looks great. right now i have an older 38" tube that works great and i hate to junk it but its so fucking huge that when i do switch it out im just going to have to smash it (yes that will be taped) im leaning towards a DLP, but im still up in the air. i have a great TV room but im kind of waiting to remodel before i drop 1k on a new TV
