I'm assuming you are talking about starting a new thread? That's what this forum is for. With as many new members as we get, we had to put some minor restrictions on the ability to start new threads. I forget what the magic number is but you will be able to start threads soon enough.

In the meantime, if you have something that you would like to start a new thread with, just post it here and one of us can split it off into its own thread

A) Steve C. made a number of O&A show promos run on XM which featured a character who is a deep voiced, voiceover artist. He lives opulently and works from home. He has a houseboy named ramon(e) who is made to suffer various indignities at the hands of his employer. Deep Voice guy as he is called always commands him by using his first name ie. "Ramoooone! Give me your sleeve" or "Ramoooone! Clean this up"

B) O&A love to torture bad guests with the "Serious questions only" bit where they encourage the fans to call and prank their own guest.

C) During one such "Serious Questions Only" segment, Jim Norton called from the production booth as "Steve from Yellowstone" (aka Steve the Bear) and started his call like a normal call in his Steve C. voice and then broke in with "Rammmoooooonneee! and then said something witty and insulting about the current guest. After that it became a running bit and was adopted by the pests as a prank calling technique.

I have been listening to O&A since the WNEW days and I have had a WOW sticker just as long on all of my vehicles. Up until today the most I ever got was some other lunatic pest blowing his horn and hanging out his window to give me a thumbs up as he passed pointing at his sticker, scarring the living shit out of my old lady. I mostly forgot the sticker was even on my truck until today. I was stuck in accident traffic on I-78 east in NJ, sitting there pissed hardly moving I heard a horn next to me. The editing restriction is global - 30mins max, no matter how long you've been on the board or how many posts you have.

The only reason why that waste of space gets any listeners at all is because he gets all the props from being the "local" guy on the Browns home station. ROVER WOULD DESTROY HIM IF THEY WERE ON IN THE SAME TIME SLOT (and WMMS knows that so they put him on in the afternoons)! JIM NORTON IS HILARIOUS and whatever douche they said was funnier than Norton is a ridiculous ass. Club Soda Kenny and Big A would put on a more exciting show than stupid Maxwell. WMMS should get a clue "and punt" him off the air. I remember when you guys were on live here back in the day, that 1 OUT OF EVERY 4 RADIOS IN CLEVELAND WERE TUNED IN TO THE OPIE AND ANTHONY SHOW!!! You know..it's usually the car crash sound but then they play a bunch of sports clips after that. The one I really want is the hockey one where the guy says, "He shoots, he scores! NO?!? How did that NOT go in?" And also the newer baseball one where the guy calls it a homerun and then says it went UNDER the wall. lol

We have recieved many emails from members asking why they cant post a new thread.

We have tried to stay away from preventing new members from posting threads as long as we could, however it was getting a bit much to handle.

New users cannot start a new thread, this is based on a formula on both the time you've been a member and the number of posts you have. This gives you time to get the feel of the board before making a new thread. you CAN post in existing threads.

Once you have reached the threshold of the post/time formula, the board will automatically allow you to make a thread.

This threshold can be raised or lowered at any time.

Please do not "postwhore" to get your post count up since it is based on your time as a member also.

There is no rank system here, This is not about that. It's to keep the board running smoothly and uncluttered with the same topics. We had to put this in because it was getting really bad with all the new threads on existing topics.

Please take the time to read the FAQ, and the various stickies in general discussion.

I actually like the "length of time as a member/number of posts made" restriction for starting a new threads. It makes sense because I wanted to start one but I honestly don't know if the subject matter has been posted before (although several searches turned up nothing).

It's a WW2 anti-nazi propaganda cartoon made by Disney back in the 1940's that I found on YouTube:

It kind of reminded me of the "50's version of the future" toon from a few weeks back and of course, there is also the Nazi angle that we all know our resident Fuhrer, Herr Anthony would love.

So I'm 23 years old. I have been dating this girl for almost 5 years. She is 21. Yes I was 19 when she was 16. We have been living together for 8 months. She has now broken up with me and is moving out. In this 5 years my dad killed himself. Her sister died unexpectedly. We have been through a lot together. We have broken up 3 or 4 times but never lasting more than a couple weeks. Anyways last week one of her best friends killed herself. It basically sent her into an emotional breakdown to where she feels no emotion towards anything including me. I love her to death. Any ideas on how to deal with this? Should I just give her space until she gets better?

"Plus we really need to save money on Howard's contract and re infuse the money into channel 73. That's our SPA 73 where we play relaxing sounds of the best in new age and ambient music."

As for what will happen with channels 100 and 101 that were the homes for Howard Stern, Karmazin says the channels could be given to former Stern staffer and current Tonight Show announcer Stuttering John Melendez who is expected to be unemployed when Jay Leno leaves NBC.
