As a huge fan on king diamond since I was a kid and a fan of concept albums in general I can't wait to pick this up.

I saw king diomond back in the 80's... didnt care for emm, ended up leaving early... but I do remember Armored Saint opened .... and they kicked major ass. I never understood why AS never did better.

Amored Saint - one of the most underrated bands - especially live - ever. I think Pritchard's death hurt them spiritually, if not musically, at a key point in their existence.

"Girl in the bloody dress" rocks. I've been away from the scene for a while, getting back into it. KD will be in NYC on Apr01,02 2008 I'm looking forward to it.

Nothing beats Mercyful Fate's "Melissa", best fucking album ever.

I remember the day Mercyful Fate first broke up around '85, '86, I was about 18, got a bottle of vodka got drunk and was very upset about it. Soon after, KD's "Fatal Portrait" was released and I was happy again.

King has a badly herniated disk. Close friends in Dallas tell me that he was really upset about this. He knows he has a strong album and wants to be on the road supporting it. The only way for him to get better is rest. Dr says it will be 6-12 months.

the thing about his back sucks but im actually happy about the postponement, i couldn't go to the show in nyc
