I played NHL '94 every damn day. I used to love flying down the wing, then cutting across the goal at the last minute. I'd always score with that. Never got boring. :)

NHL'94 you could also go around behind the net, come along the boards and out to the top of the circle and shoot a slapshot on your forehand and score every time...
I loved sonic, and my favorite ever was
http://img503.imageshack.us/img503/1010/superhangonkb8.jpg
Super Hang-On
Best game ever for Genesis. I loved making my own bike, winning races, getting cash. We used to break the bike, start and lose races for hours to earn cash....I used to do it while watching tv with it in the background...
I was a Sega kid, no doubt. Genesis was my first system ever in fact, the old school Genesis Ghost Busters game, the Road Rash games, Gouls and Ghosts I wore those games the fuck out when I was a kid. I regret every day I sold my original Genesis for cash one day at Gamestop. I even owned the Dreamcast, still rank Dreamcast and Genesis as the number one and two best consols I ever owned, ever. Followed pretty close by my Wii.
A part of my childhood died the day Sega got out of the console market.

I had a genesis. It was my first console. Sonic is still to this day my favorite side scrolling game. Sonic Adventure for the Dreamcast was amazing as well.

wiki
In the scene where Brodie is playing as the Hartford Whalers in a video hockey game for the Genesis, the sound effects and gameplay do not match: he is playing the bespoke NHL All-Star Hockey, while the organ music is from EA Sports' seminal NHL series. Smith wanted to use the more popular EA game in the film, as he is a fan of it, but could not due to rights issues.

i killed the shit outta the Sonic games. Sonic, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, and Sonic & Knuckles. got all the emeralds, got Super Sonic, Hyper Sonic, Super Knuckles, Super Tails, perfect scores on all the emerald levels, all of it.
does anyone remember when Sonic 3 came out and McDonald's had that promotion to win Sonic 3? well i won it and i didn't even have a Sega Genesis at the time. i got the game in the mail in like June and had to wait six months to get the Genesis for Christmas. of course, i got the Genesis that came with Sonic 2.

My area was one of the few to have the Sega Channel, it was the only way to play the Mega Man remakes for Genesis, 1 through 3.

which level was that? i remember this one level of Sonic 3 that drove me nuts. i believe it was the Casino Nights stage, where there was this spinning cylinder thing that blocked your path. you had to jump up and down on it over and over and over and over to try to make it go low enough so you could get by it. no matter how much i jumped on it, it still wouldn't go low enough to pass and i'd fucking go insane.
but i discovered by own way past it. before i arrived that this part of the game, i got all the emeralds and made sure i had 50 rings when i got to the cylinder. i'd jump on it a few times to make the cylinder go as low as i could make it, and just as the cylinder came back up, i'd turn into Super Sonic. thanks to a glitch, the cylinder would go up, but Sonic would stay stationary as he transformed into Super Sonic and you'd squeeze between the cylinder and the wall next to it and get by it. of course, it didn't work every time, sometimes the glitch would cause me to get stuck in the wall next to the cylinder.

Exactly. That level drove me bonkers. The thing is(Oh no, I'm turning into Vos!;):haha7:), I was good at getting through the lower levels without losing lives or rings but I sucked at collecting the emeralds. I guess it does not anymore. My brother awhile ago shit-canned my the used Genesis I bought a few years ago out of nostalgia. Goddamit!:icon_evil:hamm:
