Yeah, I think most people are sick of these win/win assholes. "We'll help the very richest and the very poorest and the middle class will benefit in the end." Nevermind that the poor they're trying to help shouldn't be in our society to begin with. Both parties are now acting the way Democrats usually act. "The American middle class doesn't know what's best for it so we'll force it down their throats using deception or the courts if need be."

This is the first I've heard about this, I need to read up on the issue but, my initial reaction is this is some kind of attempt to initiate a kind of EU type authority here in North America. If so, it stinks and I don't like it!

I see what your saying but your allusion misses the fact that the original states all shared what was pretty much a common culture and heritage as opposed to what the EU is trying create or what this is an attempt at.

Besides, we all know Canada is pretty much the 51st state anyway.
