just saw it introduced on g4 who has live coverage of e3. it's essentially a slim balance board that the user stands on and can do a number of "fit" exercises like stepping, yoga, heading soccer balls, pushups and a bunch of other stuff. it looks pretty cool and can track your progress over time. for all of you fat baggers out there, it does not display your weight on the screen, but instead your body mass index.

This thing looks sweet. I am all over WiiFit and the Zapper. I missed most of the coverage, was there a release date for either of those items?

Eh.... I'm sure it'll attract a wider audience. But I really could care less about a video game helping me work out. It's just lke an interactive fitness tape is all.

Get on the flimsy plastic object, fatties. Pretend you're exercising.

Jesus. I would hate to share that thing with people. Sweaty feet and hands getting bacteria all over the plastic.
I know I sound like a germophobe, but think about that. That thing would need to be cleaned constantly.

looks interesting, I wonder what the price for the board will be. They might try to price it up there with guitar hero at about 90 bucks.

I'm wondering what other uses it could have. Wii Fit looks a little interesting, but a 1080 game using that would rock...

Remember the powerglove thread? Looks like Nintendo too the first step forward in resurrecting a dead periphial.
I honestly can't see how people get worked up about the board.
