Seek Approval to Transfer Control of
FCC Authorizations and Licenses

I write to request that you DENY the merger between XM and Sirius. Radio consolidation and monopolization has greatly damaged our democracy with a few companies owning all of the media. Additionally, it has severely affected small radio production businesses such as mine. Self-imposed financial hardships encountered by broadcasters should not be rewarded with the FCC changing the rules. Please do not approve this merger.

It seems that the only people to speak publicly in favor of the merger are Sirius brass and stupid Sirius subscribers. Some of those douchebags are posting on Blabbermouth.net in favor of it. I guess they realize that is the only way for them to continue considering how much they overpaid Hoo-Hoo, the NFL, NASCAR, the NBA, and virtually every other employee.
