As per the Blowhard:
Since the boys will be back on K-Rock 3-7pm on Tuesday, why not call before, during and after the show and show your support?
Start dialing!
877-212KROCK
You can also call the main switchboard at 212-314-9230, or fax them at 212-314-9338. Or you can write to them:
K-Rock
40 West 57th Street, 14th Floor
New York, NY 10019
Spread the word, especially to the other boards!
If you can, please lend a hand to show support for Ron & Fez.

I just found out that the (877)212-KROCK number will be the in-studio line for Ron & Fez's "hostile takeover" of KRock, so if you use that number, don't call between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
The Blowhard should be one of the first callers.

So will this be a one-off or will they be back on the station daily?
I'll call but I'm still upset they played Buckcherry on Saturday but not my request, "Miracle Man," by Elvis Costello. Fucking stupid Earl...

then we have to take action and get our buddays back on the air. thanks for the info, Mikeyboy.
I guess this is to test out Ron & Fez's popularity in New York City to determine if they should get a regular show.
I think a good idea is to call in on Wednesday & Thursday and ask "Where is Ron & Fez?". That will show that Ron and Fez have a large audience for more than one day.

as I live in Pittsburgh I will be streaming the show from 92.3's website. I also did that when they were on free fm.
heres the question
does the radio station get any of that information?
2: does that count towards their ratings?
i want to know if me listening online is either helping, or not effecting

I interned at WJFK when they began streaming and I believe they compile data from listeners who listen to the stream but no, it doesn't affect their ratings or advertising dollars. If you notice to the spots you hear between segments, they're typically PSAs or station promos because there's an issue with compensating those involved with the ads for extended use. If they were counted in ratings, which affected rates, they'd probably be forced to work out some sort of deal to play the actual ads.
That said, WJFK made a big deal about going online and it helps the station to have people to listen that way. Again, I'm not a radio professional, so maybe I'm wrong.

when I streamed the free fm show I heard all the local commercials and live reads. I remember thinking they were back on the air during the 8 minute long i-57/rayban/something else live read..
i dunno what that could be then, but thanks for the info.

I interned at WJFK.
Gary were you ever on the air w/ R&F? I've listened to a lot of the WJFK stuff available @ ronfez.net, but don't recall hearing you. Or were you interning for the station and not R&F directly?
