The main streets that are connected to my neighborhood are closed due to flooding. It was raining all day yesterday and it's raining harder than ever at the moment.
I hate Oklahoma weather. It was fucking bright and shiny, not a cloud in the sky, and all of a sudden...floods.

After Katrina my highway got cut off behind a couple hundred feet of trees. It took a whole day to clear it out. Sucks, I know.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA You suck! Hmmmm we will be getting those storms coming over the border in a little bit :( But im sure most of it will be worn out from dumping it's payload on OK first.
The hills in this area also help to disrupt a lot of the storms and break them up.
i was looking at the river levels there, youre not kidding about coming fast. some rivers rose 15 feet in a little under 5 hours.
supposed to get dumped on here soon too. 2-4 inches.
good luck sam_adams :action-sm

Don't want any naggers floating them down the street in a box now do we?
It's coming right over to my area due East of Tulsa, OK. So, Chino and I will get a tad bit of rain up here in the corner of AR.
I'm sure our air signal will crap out at the fucking TV station tonight when we are to go on air. I hope it does so I can get paid to do NOTHING :D

Hence why I like Long Island...No fucking flooding for weeks, 12 foot snow storms, tornados that take out towns, earthquakes, 120 degree heat...just high taxes...And maybe a hurricane every 20 or so years....And don't try to move here you can't afford it...

Yeah, they got ripped off..
The notion of thousands started when the first reporter innocently enough called the place a 'cereal bowl' without the half-second of forethought of what the ensuing joke would be. After that, everyone had visions of them bobbing around bumping into each other all across the city.

It's rain, I'm sure she's fine.
And it's fucking dry and sunny now. What the hell? How can streets be closed in the morning and everything is dried up and dandy by 4? That almost makes me angry that the rain is gone.

Well the last number I remember was like around 960 or so. I don't know what the exact number was though.
Yeah, the storm basically stalled out and hasn't really done fuck here. It's been sprinkling since about 4:30pm and hasn't really been a real rain storm. The shit fell apart for the most part before it hit the hills.

I dunno - last few rainstorms we've had my portion of Nassau County has gotten flooded. Took me over an hour to go from Westbury to Mineola the last heavy rain we had. Water was over the wheel well of my Saturn & even the SUV's weren't doing too well. My friend has to drive from Inwood to Glen Cove & it took him about 2 1/2 hours to get to work. If he wasn't the chief clerk of the court, he would've turned around & gone home. Even the rain we had last Thursday caused some flooding, but it only took me 35 minutes instead of the usual 25.
LOL - even those of us who live here can't afford to live here!

I just moved back here from southern Illinois, and I've seen enough weather to last me a fucking lifetime. I like not having to check the radar every time I go out.

What part of southern Illinois?? I grew up about 35 miles north of Carbondale (where SIU is). Nothing like living in a place where every summer storm could result in a massive flood or a random tornado.

Cool. I assume you graduated?? Congrats.
It hasn't rained here since July 16th, triple digit highs and way too humid. You Oklahomans should feel free to push some of that rain south and east.
