Dude- I am the same way. I cant listen to the live show cuz of work. I try to listen at midnight but its just not the same.

I'd just like to say that I didn't know anything about Ron and Fez until they came to XM. I would like to say I've become a fan and enjoy the show almost as much as O and A. Friday I had a chance to hear what their show used to be like. Now all the comments about the old Fez make sense. What energy! He's gone from that being afraid to leave the house when someone rubs him the wrong way (which apparently is easier than beating Dave in a bet). For a few days he seemed to be getting better (good drugs?) then this silly bamma thing happened.
I don't know if this has been pointed out but, he kept saying he was having a great time till he realized that he was being taped. WHO CARES IF YOU WERE BEING TAPED? Have your fun. If it winds up on you tube (i still haven't seen this infamous clip) laugh at it and move the fuck on. Be a man, already.

These were guys that did work behind the scenes AND you could bounce stuff off them on air. Now they have ESD , Earl ,add in the fact Fez is bat shit insane and its a 180 from where its should be.
Its time to clean house and maybe time for Fez to take a LONG vacation (no not to Florida).

It does seem like there's some sort of competition going on. It's a cycle of people (staff and callers) trying to explain how they're more miserable and they've got it worse than everyone else. That can be funny sometimes, but not when the caller is just fishing for some pity or using Mr. B as a therapist.
Anyway, maybe the show just needs some fresh regular callers. If the fans stepped up maybe there'd be less depressing shit on the show. :P

I don't really have a big problem with the crew. Bronx Johnny brings something interesting to the show. Pepper and pitsy are fun. I don't really have a problem with East side dave. I like to think of him as comic relief. I never know when he's an idiot or it's an act. And every once in a while he is actually the second chair the Fez is supposed to be filling. It may be annoying for Ron, but I think Earl is the perfect whipping boy. Would the show be better without him? Maybe. Simple fact is that if Fez was on his game, we there wouldn't be room for all these others to move in and be such focal points.
Fex I don't know if you read this, but right now you a Superman 4. I need you to get back to at the very least Superman 3. Superman 2 would be ideal, but I'm not a greedy man. I know you can do it, because I've heard it as recently as 2 weeks ago. Take your drugs, get your dick sucked, be more gooder.

Thats a played out excuse. Im not "pining" for the wnew days. I love the show now and i hope raf never leave XM b/c i LOVE the long form format. Never did i say " man the show sucks now dude ,Wnew was the best".
All i said was that back then Ron and Fez had a lot of help. And now they have none. I dont HATE esd or black earl infact i think they are nice guys. But they do nothing to help Ron and Fez. Not on air or off air. For example the fact that they need to rely on unpaid interns like Lily to put stuff together that Dave and Earl should be doing is all the proof one needs to understand they have failed as producers in their off air duties.
Now whether they have failed on air is a matter of opinion and taste. But surely they have failed with their off air/ behind the scene producer duties. I understand why they keep ESD he has on air potential and they need to lean on ESD b/c Fez forgot how to talk a couple years ago. Why they keep Earl just goes to show you that XM does not pay attention.
My point isnt to say " oh them good ol days" or to bash people. Its to point out Ron needs some fucking help. He has no one to bounce off of and no one to trust behind the scenes.
Dave and Earl are nice guys but in the end their job isnt to be nice guys its to help Ron and Fez and make their life easier. they fail. I think its obvious this shows one bad day from ending and you can hear it in Rons voice. He needs some fucking help. Its time for a change.
To be fair with the addition of Lily ,Pitzy, Johnny and Pepper they might be getting the help they need but as of right now only Pitzy is a paid employee so maybe thats not so good.
Get better Fez.
