I've had the unfortunate opprtunity to hear myself on tape. My voice inexplicably raises an octave or two when I try to sing, and I don't even hear it while I'm doing it. You'll never catch me at Karaoke Night.

Ok I know this is a bit gay but I don,t sing much anymore given that my range isn't that great, I go from somewhere in the low Bass range to Baritone

I used to be a Karaoke DJ and part of my schtick in one of my shows was the ability to tape people. For five bucks I made a tape of you singing one song on one side and another song on the other side.

I sounded pretty good on tape, granted it was a shitty venue with horrible acoustics and my equipment was crap... but hey.

But some of the people I taped were like "Oh my Gawwwwwwd I could send this in as a demo tape! Like totally!" And I'm like... Yeah I don't think record companies are going to listen to your demo. You sound like someone is strangling a cat underwater.
