Ed Mcgonigle is a good guy, he may have gotten scared... but he is a good standup. I think there's more to that than he's just "scared".

Cabaret it was a year or so ago my friend was working on material and i went up there with no material and bombed as i completely blanked...so this will be interesting even though in the time between doing that im much more comfortable being in front of people on the mic, im a ring announcer for a local independent wrestling company...

I'm a philly comic, a little over a year into comedy.

My act is decent, I get laughs.. still trying to get the "hackiness" out of my writing. It's tough. I don't think the people that are just going to go up and do an act know exactly what to expect, but it's awesome that they're going for it.

I don't expect to win, I know some of the other comedians that are showing up and it's going to be *stiff* competition. They're some of the top "unknown" philly guys.

Should be a blast.

Small crowd of mostly comics is the hardest room a comic will ever do. Nobody wants to laugh because that means somebody else is funny.

The biggest crowd i ever performed for was a little over 700 and it was easier than doing an open mic for a room of 10, 6 of which were comics.

By the way I was listening to Kidd Chris the other day. Bob Levy was on and they played an audio of Ed McMonigle, and the audience is booing the hell out of him. He deserves it. I thought he had some great jokes for Car Crash Comedy..........too bad he turned into a dickhead.
