Do We Need a New Forum?

Today SOS posted several threads related to scientific news in the Current Events Forum and that got me thinking. There are a number of us who post and read various links involving scientific news like the space program, climatology, and the like. These items, while current events are unique. Would it be beneficial to group these posts in some kind of science forum, appropriately named?

Another question, should technology news be included or is it covered by computers and gaming?

Just wondering.

well right now i post threads in the current events for IT/tech news and in the comp/gaming too, but an all-in-one sinence and technology thread would be good.

right now the comp/gaming is for what it says.. comp stuff... like "can u fix this" or "i am playing/buying XXX game".

thats what its for, i am not complaining about that.

i think there are enough science and technology related stories to be a mian thread, or at least a sub thread, like sports that has the wrestling and fantasy leauge subs.

maybe like this...

I wouldn't mind a Sci/Tech forum by itself. I wouldn't like a subforum, though. Sometimes too much organization is bad -- I have a tendency to forget subforums are even there. So I'd rather leave them all in one "Current Events" forum.

Perhaps a simple renaming of Current Events. Maybe something like "News & Tech"... or "Wackbag News Alert!!!!!" We could get a fancy stinger... lol
