This past Halloween XM gave us a "spooky, scary" channel of Halloween songs on channel 120.

Holy fucking shit did this channel SUCK. I gave it a very honest try as I was driving around with my buddy Grim Sanity. Everytime I went back to 120 it was just fucking awful. Most of it seemed to be stuff from like 40 years ago that didn't sound scary at all.

Anyone else disappointed in that channel?

It must have been playing nothing but death metal then

Serves you right for attempting to listen to a gimmick channel like that.

Igor pretty muched sucked the big one. Repeated songs too many times and seemed like they played a lot of old, obscure blues songs which would have been scary if it was 1928.

On another note I noticed that Holly 103 is already up and running. Does anybody need to hear all Christmas music all day on November 5th??

That's exactly how I felt. There were "scary" sounding song titles about monsters and other shit like that but the songs weren't scary in the least.

I know it was a lousy gimmick channel, but we pay for this shit music selection they offer and I'd like to enjoy more than 202 for once.

I have also been giving "103 Holly" a chance but it just doesn't feel like Christmas yet. Let it get to be heavy jacket weather and I'll be more in the Christmas mood.

I recorded 8 hours or so on my Inno, and while there were some repeats, there definitely were some gems.

Particularly - Christopher Walken reading "The Raven"
