As far as the race pool........this is a tough one.

After the kid stole the truck, did he:

1. Put spinners on it or
2. Put a gun rack in it

Please provide this info then I will join the race pool.

LANCASTER, Ohio - One person was killed and several others were injured Friday in a crash allegedly caused by a 13-year-old boy driving a stolen delivery truck.

The crash involving five vehicles happened at about 3:40 p.m. Friday on County Road 33A at Stump Hollow Road south of Lancaster, 10TV News reported.

According to the Patrol, Charles Shoemaker, 13, was driving eastbound on County Road 33A in a stolen Rent-A-Center truck when he crossed the median and struck vehicles traveling the other direction.

Leland Conner, 77, was killed during the crash. His wife, Doris, was injured and hospitalized at The Ohio State University Medical Center in critical condition.

Two others, Linda Thompson and David Dunfee, were listed in critical condition.

Before the fatal crash, the truck caused three more crashes on Memorial Drive, according to Lancaster police.

"There's a Rent-A-Center truck going down through here at Memorial and Sixth," a 911 caller told the dispatcher. "He's hitting cars right and left. Somebody said he stole it."

The Patrol said Shoemaker is in custody at a Fairfield County juvenile detention facility where he faces charges for stealing the truck, 10TV News reported.

Authorities and prosecutors were slated to meet on Monday to determine if additional charges would be filed.

Shoemaker's aunt and uncle told 10TV News that their nephew never came home from school on Friday, and that their hearts went out to all those involved in the crashes.
