Reinhardt started with wild winging punches, which Lauzon slipped with ease. Lauzon then took Reinhardt to the floor with a well executed body-lock takedown. Lauzon quickly moved to side-control and north-south, where he punished Reinhadt with punches to the head. Reinhardt gave his back to avoid punishment. Lauzon, not wasting any time, quickly applied a fight ending rear-naked choke at 1:14 of the opening period.

Hey ya'll just got back from the fight with Cromwell. Had a great time, but the undercards were much more entertaining fights than the main fights.

Rance looked great, nice RNC and total domination. I'm not sure if he'll win Sub of the night since the armbar in the first match was pretty sweet by Gono. I would bet he got it.

Me and crom were the second row from the top, but I will say this, Evans had about 4 shots that I heard land from up there, and those were the only ones I heard all night, he landed a few heavy ones on Bisping, and I'll give Bisping credit for still standing after them.

Rance, great fing job. Sorry I couldnt make it to the after party, 10 years ago and one kid ago I'd been there. Maybe next time.

No ground game is a bit much. Cung Le has no ground game, Houston wasn't completely terrible, he just doesn't know when to look to escape.

cung le was an all american wrestler in high school, and was very successful in college as well. he just doesnt have much of a sub game.

houston alexander will KO more opponents that have mediocre stand up and are willing to stand with him. but elite level light heavies will make a fool of him. liddell and wanderlei would humiliate him

The post-fight bonus winners were revealed during the UFC 78 post-fight press conference.

Fight of the Night honors went to Chris Lytle and Thiago Alves, a non-televised preliminary fight that ended in a controversial cut stoppage. Both fighters received $55,000 bonuses in addition to their contracted pay.

Knockout of the Night honors went to Ed Herman, for his third round knockout of tough Canadian Joe Doerksen. Herman received a $55,000 bonus for that big bomb.

And finally, Submission of the Night went to Akihiro Gono, who received a $55,000 bonus for his armbar victory over Tamdan McCrory, also in a non-televised preliminary fight.

Great fight Joe had. He almost looked annoyed right after the choke that he was even put in the same ring as that guy. I don't blame him either.
