After years and years of rumors and corresponding denials... There is a buzz out there that my musical heroes, Led Zeppelin may re-form and embark on a tour following the upcoming DVD and CD releases. For more years than I can remember, the various persons involved swore there it would never happen. Now, they are changing their tune. For the past few years, they weren't even talking to each other. John Paul Jones was pissed that he wasn't included when Plant and Page recorded and toured together, and more recently Page and Plant were pissed at each other for some reason. Apparently now, all of the fences have been mended, and there is a new hope:

"Band members have refused to rule out persistent rumours that they would perform again as Led Zeppelin. Bassist and keyboard player John Paul Jones said: "You can never say never about anything. Maybe we could get together. If everybody felt it was a good idea on the same day...you never know." Page added: "If we could get in a room and play the instruments and feel passionate about it, that would be all right wouldn't it? I'm not counting anything out at all."

the only drummer worthy of touring with them is Dave Grohl.

Dude, step away from the crack pipe.

There are many drummers worthy of such an honor. But, Dave Grohl is not even close to being one of them.

But, the rumor mill is alive with mumblings of it being Jason Bonham, the son of the late Zeppelin drummer.

I agree it should be Jason... Phil Collins played with them at Live Aid...

Although, it would be cool if they pulled someone out of the woodwork like Ginger Baker.
