I don't think Erock is a bad producer at all. Matter of fact I think he is the victim of pranks from other members of the staff who get off on hearing Opie berate him. Granted sometimes he does fuck up and could be on time more often but on a whole he does a good job. Earl on the other hand may be a good guy but as a producer he stinks.

Opie: E Rock reminds me of a younger version of myself. He’s extremely passionate, extremely hungry. He’s a student of radio. It’s kind of creepy how much knowledge he has of other shows out there. He understands the Opie & Anthony archive better than anybody. He has quite a future if he could just learn how to sleep at night.

Anthony: He can take abuse like a trooper. He gets beat up pretty good, but he’s right there, doesn’t bitch or complain about it really. He’s able to give us very entertaining radio when he’s put in that position.

I think both guys take so much abuse because it makes a great bit.

Agreed, and one other thing that works against E-Rock is that, in their own ways, the other producers (Than, Danny, Sam, even Steve C) are *much* funnier than Erock; I don't remember the last time Erock went on mike with a spontaneous joke. I'm sure that Than, etc. make mistakes as well, but it's easier to tollerate mistakes from people who make you laugh.

Yeah he brings stupid to the show. I like him for it, but I don't see how he's any different than Earl. Like Ron says, he's not actually funny but he's fun to laugh at. Both of them are there to be made fun of.

I used to hate Dave because I thought he was supposed to be contributing to the show on the same level as Ron and Fez, he got so much mic time I just assumed something witty or intelligent was supposed to come out of his mouth...It never came.
