I'd like to Blog-any site reccomendations?

I looked for a thread dealing with this, but found none.

I am moving overseas soon, and my family has asked if I would write about out move-so, I'm curious about if any of you all have a free site reccomendation.

I like Blogger.com and use Windows Live Writer to submit and edit posts. The interface is a bit difficult at times, but the Live Writer makes using Blogger (and I would assume any blog network) much easier. Here's what I do because I'm a cheap, plug-whore.

i have always liked vox and is very simple to use, if you haven't done much blogging and also has a lot for more advance users.
