I want to get a bigger hard drive for my computer (I only have a faggot ass 40GB drive now), but money is kind of tight here. If anyone on here is getting better gear for the holidays, or has some stuff they're not using, could you please either post here or send me a PM? I want to get another hard drive that's bigger than 40GB, and possibly a rewritable DVD drive. And if there's any other computer stuff you have that you don't want anymore, please let me know. If it works, the price is right, and I can make use of it, you could very well have a buyer.
Thanks.
Joe

How much are you looking to spend for a hard drive?
Probably no more than 50 bucks (for the hard drive) and whatever it would cost for shipping. I'd prefer something that's used. Most of the system I have now is made of used parts and it hasn't let me down yet, except for the fact that the dvd drive isn't writable and the hard drive is small.

For $50 you can get something brand new thats 160GB.
Brand New > Used
Remember, a hard drive is one of the only things in your computer that has moving parts (besides fans & the CD drive) Moving parts = more prone to fail.
Get yourself something new.

just like no one cares that you bought a PS3 because you wanted to rub it in bogey's face.
and upgrading is always good, makes life more gooder
Agree with blazin, hard drives are usually the first component to fail with age. Fortunately they are also cheap. Get yourself a new one that comes with at least a 3-yr (standard) warranty.

I wanna do that midget squeal right now. That price range is perfect. :) The hard drive I'm using now is like 6 years old. It's working fine now, but there's always the possibility that it will decide to stop one day. Whenever I do get the new hard drive, I'll probably leave my Windows programs on the old one, and transfer all the games and junk to the new one.
