Not really. I was 1 of 2 people on my team with a better kill/death ratio. The whole team was losing on that map till about a minute left, everyone was trying to snipe, I was the only one running to grad the HQ. I really have no clue how we won.

I hate hardcore because all the maps are close quarters so there's no point in doing anything but getting a p90 and spraying with the increased damaged. I was leveling on a 36 player Headquarters server when I first started but now it's the server I have the most fun on even with my level maxed out. Has anyone played with Noodles or is he busy fagging it up with Stupid Bob on the console?

Yea I could hang back like a pansy and be OK with losing round after round, or actually do something to help make the team win. Can't win HQ if you're just sitting around sniping people and not grabbing/defending HQ, which was what my team was doing, and we were getting smashed. No. He's wrong on numerous levels. Even if the controller was actually more precise, which it's not by a long shot, it wouldn't be due to the shape of it. The sticks would function exactly the same no matter what the shape of the plastic molding around it was.

I don't even understand how someone could possibly think a controller is more accurate than a mouse anyway. It's really common sense. Between all the games with auto aim features and the usually frustrating problem of aiming at things on a diagonal, it really can't be more obvious. I mean honestly, how many times have you seen something in the upper left corner of the screen, and instead of moving the stick straight there you pretty much have to move left and THEN move up, in two separate motions. In comparison pick any random point on your monitor and move your mouse there. It's instant. It's the difference between using just your thumb to move and using your entire hand. It's the same reason people buy arcade sticks for fighting games.

Yea I could hang back like a pansy and be OK with losing round after round, or actually do something to help make the team win. Can't win HQ if you're just sitting around sniping people and not grabbing/defending HQ, which was what my team was doing, and we were getting smashed. We were down by 300 points at one point, until others stopped being sniping pussies and work as a team.

edit: the other game with 51 kills I only had 14 deaths.

I don't play those games. I don't need the points. That's mostly a point whore game. I just hang out around in the Team Hardcore section so I can kill people more realistically with a few bullets instead of wasting half of a magazine on someone just to kill them without a headshot.

It's nice being able to shoot someone ONCE with a .50BMG instead of having to hit them two or three times like on regular TDM. It's ridiculous to even have to shoot more than once in ANY type of game on COD4 with a .50BMG considering organisms are obliterated upon impact in real life.

that game blew and no one played it. they also nerfed the PC controls to the point where it was unplayable. they limited the number of things you could bind to your keys so you could not utilize the keyboard to its full potential. if i remember correctly you could only bind 4 spells or something at once.

yet another advantage on PC. You just hop on our TS server and join the COD4 room. Everyone can join and you don't need a friends list. Then just get the IP of the server and join. Nothing random or difficult about it. Also we have three 50 player servers which means there is plenty of room for everyone to join unlike COD4 on 360 where you can only play with 16. The multiplayer options on PC are so much better.

It's just a matter of point accumilation. Just last night I killed one of those golden crossed faggots ten times in one game while I was trying to get all of my headshots for the P90.

I'm just going through the game to unlock all of the golden weapons. I've almost finished both assault rifles and sub machine guns. I just need a few hundred more in both classes.

(I know this is a difficult concept to grasp, but it is a video game) Or do you want to have the lunatics that are screaming like assholes everytime they get killed? I dropped 60 bucks to play a game I like, and hang around with some cool people. The suggestion I made was for some kind of an O&A Army (Like back in the AAF days) with serious gamebattles account players for clan matches. I dont think you understand what i mean. these clans are private matches for tournys and seasons. No1 said anything about an "e-peen" or Bob not being able to travel. You dont have to be a part of it or you can look into it and play when you can. Its not a life or death full time thing man. Really not that big a deal. rumors from charlieoscardelta.com and since the beta days was that new content would be released and you would have to be at least 1 prestige lvl to use them. thats the only reason I went prestige. Only once. the clan I am currently in has 5 lvl 10s and they constantly get ragged on in every room "Ohhhh lvl 10s ohhhh, you have no life....blah blah" they all regret getting to 10 and would have stopped at 9.

So take your fucking shit system that you have to buy the top of the line version to even remotely get a chance at playing one of my older games, and shove it up your ass. Glorified Blu-Ray player. I've gained enough points to be an 8-level prestige by now but I have let those hundreds of thousands of points go because I'm not going to sit there and lose my challenges and weapons.

There is no reason for Bob to go prestige. It's pointless. It doesn't even mean that you're a good player.

I could not agree more. I'm still about.......18, 19 levels away from being a level 55 general. Once I make it to that level, I'm STAYING there. What is the point of me tossing away all of my weapons and perks just to do it all over again, and get a gay (not to be confused with GAAY) little medal by my name? If the game itself (or through XBL updates) were to give you something MORE for choosing to go through the levels again on prestige (like new perks or new weapons), maybe I'd be swayed.

Personally, I am in the "if you're a 10 time prestige, you have no life" camp. I'm a working professional - I play this game maybe a couple hours, late at night, on the days of the week I can when I'm not otherwise too busy. And it's taking me a while to get up to level 55. I can't fathom who has the time to go through 55 levels 10 times over, it has to either be teenagers or people with less stressful / less demanding occupations than mine. I mean, shit, last time I played was Sunday night, and looking at my schedule this week, I may not get a chance to play again until Friday evening at the earliest.

Im in the same boat and it sucks. If I could spend the time I did when I was in college playing this game, Im sure I would be amazing. Im at a day and a half in game time and Im only at 38. At first I was in the whole 'no life' thing for the people who have it but I can remember when I didnt have to get up in the morning or when I would just sit in my dorm room and play GTA Vice City for hours on end.
I understand doing the prestige once or twice but I cant see going through all that ten times in a row.

The people I cant stand are the ones who mock you when your starting out. My brother just got a system and I was showing him how to play and shit. He was at level 2 and some of those people were really being dicks about how bad he was. It was his second match and this one douche with the iron cross thing complained the whole match. Fucking loser douche .

I noticed what FrigginAnT did too. But I also noticed that later in the evening (11 PM - 2 AM for the most part), I never run into this issue. Seems to be more peak game time for me. I'll have an error connecting to the host when I try to join a game in progress or when I join a game as a party. Booooooooooooo.
