Sam & Max got me hooked. Sam the six foot dog detective. Max the kinda rabbit sidekick. I hate most computer games but I'm addicted to this series.

Gametap getting advanced copies of each of the new episodes was the reason that I subscribed to it. Now that the new season is on the way, I may need to subscribe again.

they made some new sam and max games the past year and half or so ago and still releasing them episodically

They still make those games? I played Sam and Max hit the road like 10 years ago. Do they still make Leisure Suit Larry? They had a Leisure Suit Larry "spinoff" type game with his nephew in college. It was fun enough but not particularly difficult, repetitive and the infinite loading screens happened like every 10 seconds.
