Not to mention the ADT guy told my wife and I that we should "go hide and wait for the police to come" should anyone get in. I literally had to turn around and bite my hand to keep from throwing him the fuck out of my house.

I have an ADT wireless system on 2 of my doors at my house b/c they stated they couldn't get to those doors to hardwire. It blows!!!! No false alarms, just always having to change the fucking batteries so the alarm can be set.

I just bought the ADT stickers and put them on my windows and doors. If that's not enough of a deterrent I'll just shoot them if I'm lucky enough to be home.

Have ADT for over ten years, no problems. All doors are armed and all rooms have motion detectors. I think I had 1 or 2 unexplained alarms all that time.

Hard wire is what you do when you are building a new house, but wireless is fine in an already existing house so your not ripping your walls apart.
